There are excellent views of the Monadhliath mountains from the front windows. With SKY satellite TV, home entertainment, board games, CDs and DVDs you are ensured of a fun time inside or out. Free fishing is allowed from many local lochs and rivers. Visitors have caught brown trout & salmon.
Nearby is Foyers (5 minutes drive) with the waterfalls, and a village shop, hotel bars/restaurants and tea rooms. Also Whitebridge (10 minutes drive) and Dores (15 minutes drive) have a (hotel) bar /restaurant. Fort Augustus at the end of Loch Ness (25 minutes drive) has many bars, cafes and restaurants plus the stunning 5 locks climbing out of Loch Ness.
