Rockberry Apartment offers comfortable accomodation for two and a truly breathtaking uninterrupted panoramic view extending across the whole of Tor Bay to Portland (visability permitting).

Situated on the South West Coast path and literally yards from the sea, Rockberry is ideal for couples wanting an active holiday.

The apartment consists of a well equipped kitchen-living room, a quiet double bedroom and bathroom with a large separate shower. It is the top floor of a Victorian villa and is fully self contained. The helpful and friendly owners occupy the lower floors. There is free wi-fi available with this appartment.

Unusually for Brixham, a single, free off road parking space is available with this property.

This apartment is ideal for couples looking for a special place with a wonderful sea view to enjoy.

The Rockberry Apartment is a top floor flat of a Victorian villa. It is fully self contained and has it's own enterance via a spiral staircase.

Brixham is a picturesque fishing town set in an outstanding coastline. The town has a number of good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Dartmouth, Torquay, Totnes, the River Dart, the South Hams and Dartmoor are all easily accessible.

Rockberry is situated on the Shoalstone side of Brixham, a short walk past the harbour and marina from the centre of town. The Shoalstone sea water swimming pool is approximately 200 meters away. Breakwater Beach (swimming and scuba diving) is a couple of minutes walk away. Shoalstone beach (scuba and snorkelling) and Brixham Marina are also within a few minutes walk. Berry Head Country Park, a site of special scientific interest, with lovely walks and more fabulous views is a 10 minute walk away.

Brixham is an ideal location from which to enjoy an active holiday. Fishing, diving, swimming, sailling and boat charters, golf, go-karting and great walks are all easily available.

There are a number local regattas throughout the summer season. In addition there is the Brixham Heritage week, the Steam Fair and other local shows and fesitvals.

The apartment features a fitted quality kitchen with built in appliances including a four ring hob, full sized oven, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washer-dryer and a separate microwave. There is dining seating for four people. The living area has a comfortable leather sofa, two leather arm chairs and a large wall mounted flat screen TV with a DVD player. The bedroom over looks a quite garden area. It has a comfortable large double bed with a quality mattress, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a full sized bath and separate large shower.

The Rockberry Apartment is on the South West Coastal footpath. It is within a few minutes walking distance from the Marina and harbour, Breakwater beach, Ladybird Cove, the Seawater Swimming pool, Shoalstone Point and Berry Head Country Park (a site of Special Scientific Interest). It is idealy situated for people wishing to enjoy the local coastline and sea.

Brixham an historic town with a busy fishing industry. It has a picturesque old harbour which, not surprisingly, is overlooked by a number of good fish restaurants. During the summer period passenger boats can be taken to Torquay, Dartmouth and the River Dart. The town also has a heritage fleet of sailling trawlers. 'The Vigillance' is available for short sailling trips around the Bay. The town is located on the southern side of Torbay within the stunning South Devon coastline.

Brixham is also well placed to explore the interior of South Devon.

Delightful Apartment with Stunning Sea Views

The apartment was spacious, beautifully furnished and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were greeted every day with a wonderful, panoramic, ever-changing view of Torbay from the windows running the full length of the living room: like being on the bridge of an ocean liner! Faultless!

Spectacular views, great location

This was our first visit to the area and we loved it. Good hosts who helped out as required. The apartment is up a double spiral staircase at the back of the main house, with its own entrance. The first thing that greets you is the 8 windows overlooking the bay from the kitchen / lounge area. We never grew tired of this and I enjoyed some watercolour painting, glass of wine in hand, while soaking up the atmosphere! The location of the property is about ten minutes walk downhill to Brixham Marina where there are plenty of places to eat & drink (recommend Simply Fish, Liberty's & Coco's), and access to the ferries for venturing further afield. We enjoyed day trips to Torquay to the Living Coast sanctuary, to Paignton for the Steam Railway to Greenway Halt where we walked up to Greenway House (National Trust), and to Dartmouth and Coleton Fishacre. If you turn right out of the property you can walk 20 minutes to spectacular Berry Head - highly recommend the Guardhouse Café! All in all a wonderful stay and we hope to visit again! Thank you!

Comfortable, spacious flat ideally situated with Terrific views.

Only a 15 minute leisurely walk to Brixham harbour side makes this ideally situated for exploring the local area. About the same distance will take you to Berry head and saves on the car park charges. The flat has everything needed for a weeks stay and is clean and comfortable. The help with the luggage was much appreciated as the spiral staircase up to the flat could be a little challenging for some. We enjoyed the daily work out 😀 Would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday flat.

We always remind visitors about the spiral staircase. It is a challenge the first time one uses it, and thank you for mentioning that we are help with bags at the start and end of your holiday. The reward for the stairs, of course, is the amazing, panoramic view of the Bay every day during the holiday!

Perfect Location with great bay views

We've had a great weeks stay at this apartment. Directly opposite path to the free seawater pool and access to Shoals restaurant. Lovely walk down to the Quay to find plenty of shops, bars & cafes (we couldn't resist a cider at the Prince William both on the way to Town or back up!). We ate at several Brixham bars & cafes and never had a bad meal (even the Wetherspoons was ok and very cheap - find it at the end of Fore St). Ferry to Torquay a bargain at £3 return & a nice 30min trip. Couldn't fault the apartment, very comfy bed, great Kitchen, great shower, very clean & spacious. Parked up in the provided space & never used the car at all. Just Perfect.

Simply Breathtaking

We were pleasantly surprised with how much space we had in the apartment, it was bigger than it looked on the internet. Very clean and well decorated, the comfortable bed was appreciated as we have stayed in holiday accommodations where cuts have been made with regards to the quality of the mattress.

The most outstanding feature of this apartment is the view, absolutely breath taking, I even saw a seal swimming around the rocks from the view from the kitchen and cooking has never been such a pleasure.

Shops, restaurants, pubs are all within a short walk, Beamers and the Shoal café being our favourites.

The owners made us feel very welcome, we most defiantly will return.
