Wow what a find this house has been, spacious, warm, well equiped and perfectly located in a quiet but central location for exploring all the delights that Strathspey has to offer, we took in the castle trail, golfing at Craggan which is a lovely course with great scenery, distilleries up and down speyside and white water rafting with Ace adventures on the river findhorn which really turned into one of the most enjoyable days of my life, the river which is largely hidden from the road is an absalote gem and just has to be seen by floating down it, i would recommend this to anyone, the house was great so comfortable and well equiped and the wifi access was great for keeping an eye on a few things back at work which needed our attention.
We will definately be coming back
This is the second time we have stayed at Corrimony in wintertime, it is so cosy and warm, and every facility provided for, to make it a very enjoyable stay.Brilliant base for getting out and about, many walks to choose from within the Cairngorm area, speyside way walk is fantastic. It is also only about 30minute drive to the coast and around 40minutes to drive to Inverness. Grantown on Spey is a wonderful highland town. We look forward to visiting again.
Will definitely stay here again, warm cosy and exceptionally clean and well appointed
We have stayed at many various cottages but this was by far the best in the comfort/luxury spacious accommodation with the added bonus of having magnificent views over to the Cairngorms/Cromdale Mountains but with a lovely huge pine forest behind for the dogs to enjoy too! A good central location within easy reach of all the lovely forest walks/trails and lochs and nearby villages etc. Would certainly recommend it and enjoyed the good heating!
We stayed at the property for a week in June 2017,we found the cottage was fantastic, very clean, all the amenities you could wish for.The cottage is situated in a very nice quiet area,an unexpected bonus was that we were saw two red deer in the grass field behind the cottage, most mornings and evenings.I would certainly recommend staying in this cottage,4 very spacious double rooms, large living/dining room, large kitchen. Excellent choice.
Great location if u want to explore Cairngorm mountains, cottage itself is very nice, beautiful views, four big rooms, 2 bathrooms which helps a lot if its a big family, showers were very powerful, kitchen was very well equipped, kids really njoyed playing in the garden outside, Chris was very helpful, didnt put any pressure to check out on time (as the cleaning was scheduled for next day) which was very helpful..nothing less than 5 stars really, everything was perfect
We stayed at corrimony in early Feb 2017, it was a memorable stay for many reasons.
On arrival the house itself is a gem, the spacious bedrooms, lovely lounge,a well equipped kitchen,it really did feel like we had not left home.
Warm and comfortable ,we had some lovely cosy nights in after exploring Speyside.
Your never to far from many of the the local attractions , 30 mins from Inverness, 10 mins from avimore it couldn't be better.
If you love walking, its the jackpot with a lovely walk starting only 20 feet from the entrance to the house !! It goes through the local forest and along the dulnian river.
We had a great time, and will certainly be back again.
