Guestbook comments from the owner

Wow what a find this house has been, spacious, warm, well equiped and perfectly located in a quiet but central location for exploring all the delights that Strathspey has to offer, we took in the castle trail, golfing at Craggan which is a lovely course with great scenery, distilleries up and down speyside and white water rafting with Ace adventures on the river findhorn which really turned into one of the most enjoyable days of my life, the river which is largely hidden from the road is an absalote gem and just has to be seen by floating down it, i would recommend this to anyone, the house was great so comfortable and well equiped and the wifi access was great for keeping an eye on a few things back at work which needed our attention.

We will definately be coming back

Great location if u want to explore Cairngorm mountains, cottage itself is very nice, beautiful views, four big rooms, 2 bathrooms which helps a lot if its a big family, showers were very powerful, kitchen was very well equipped, kids really njoyed playing in the garden outside, Chris was very helpful, didnt put any pressure to check out on time (as the cleaning was scheduled for next day) which was very helpful..nothing less than 5 stars really, everything was perfect

Home from home in speyside

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at corrimony in early Feb 2017, it was a memorable stay for many reasons.

On arrival the house itself is a gem, the spacious bedrooms, lovely lounge,a well equipped kitchen,it really did feel like we had not left home.

Warm and comfortable ,we had some lovely cosy nights in after exploring Speyside.

Your never to far from many of the the local attractions , 30 mins from Inverness, 10 mins from avimore it couldn't be better.

If you love walking, its the jackpot with a lovely walk starting only 20 feet from the entrance to the house !! It goes through the local forest and along the dulnian river.

We had a great time, and will certainly be back again.

A quiet area in the beautiful Highlands. House is comfortable and is a short distance from Grantown-on-Spry and Avimore. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful House

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a week in Corrimony, a house in a lovely location, with pine woods behind and a path into the woods beside the house. Corrimony is spacious and comfortable, with a lawned area to the front and grass also to the rear. The property is very well maintained and clean. It is only 3 miles to Grantown and facilities - shops, hotels, golf course etc. We had a lovely meal in 7 Bistro in the Square. We were sad to leave and wished we could have stayed for another week. We met the owner, who was very friendly.

A home away from home

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed in Corrimony for a week in July 2016. The house itself is just lovely. It was spotlessly clean and very easy to heat. The beds were very comfortable, especially the four poster which I had already earmarked as mine before we arrived! The main objective of our holiday was to spend time together as a family. On the days when the weather wasn't wonderful, we still enjoyed our time around the house, chilling out, cooking lovely meals in the very well equipped kitchen and lounging around on the very comfortable sofas. We even rediscovered our love of monopoly. (which we found in the downstairs hall cupboard). The unlimited free wi-fi was fantastic as we had two young adults and a teenager in our company. Corrimony is in an ideal location for touring - we took several day trips, with my favourite being our trip to Loch Ness and the "kids'"favourite being the go karting outside Aviemore. I was really happy with our choice and I would recommend this family home to anyone. I would love to have stayed another week!
