Betty Beach House is a renovated cottage in the peaceful country town of Eden on Twofold Bay. The view from the front deck of the waves rolling in is lovely, the decks and patio are inviting, the beds comfortable with fresh linen, and the galley kitchen and bathroom well-appointed.
Betty is ideal for a lone traveller, a couple or 2, or a family (with portacot and high chair provided - stashed under the kids' bunks).
In the kitchen you will find basic cooking needs (eg tea, coffee, cereals, olive oil, herbs, etc), a Bullet-type blender, stove and cooktop and a microwave. There is a relaxed family living space with sofas, flat-screen TV, unlimited WIFI and dining setting. The front L-shaped deck faces east and north, and offers a wonderful spot for breakfast or to just sit and daydream, watching the surf rolling in and perhaps even a passing whale. The back deck is also a nice dining area, as is the patio - they capture the afternoon sun and are sheltered when the sea breeze gets brisk. On the patio or the back deck you can relax, see the sunset and watch the kids or the dog playing in the big garden, enjoy a bbq of local fish in the evening and rinse yourself off after your swim under the outdoor shower. The back yard is completely enclosed, safe for kids and dogs.
You can go to sleep listening to the waves, wake up and watch the sunrise over the bay from your bed in the master bedroom.
Just across the park is the boardwalk and the beach with dog-friendly areas and a rock-pool for the kids.
Betty Beach House is a short walk down the street from the 4 km walking path around beautiful Lake Curalo, and 10 minutes to cafes, shops and supermarkets.
Here on the Sapphire Coast of the New South Wales Far South Coast there is an abundance of beautiful beaches and natural sights to visit all the way from from Bermagui to Mallacoota.
