These particular properties are on 2nd & 3rd floors and measure approximately 80 Sq. Meters each.

It is an open-plan kitchen to living and has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms of which one ensuite.

Nice view North (still a lot of light) over the Union Park complex from Livingroom, Living/Open Plan Kitchen ,Kitchen; Master Bedroom W/En-Suite with shower (14ft X7ft); Second Bedroom (13ft X 8ft); second/family Bathroomn with bath.

In terms of furnishings:- Dining Room Table & 6 Chairs, Sofa Bed for Two in Livingroom, Colour Television connected to freeview TV + DVD Player and cd player.

We do have wireless broadband connection.

It was the first time that we booked a property through HomeAway and we were slightly anxious about how it will work out. But everything was perfect. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 8p.m. yet the key handover was no problem at all. The apartment itself is exactly as described above. We were 4 adults and one child, but even 7 people can sleep there easily. It was clean and tidy. Bus stops, supermarkets and all types of restaurants are nearby. We decided to get a 7-day bus pass, which is interesting in the beginning. But every day 1h into London and 1h back gets rather annoying after a while (especially during rush-hour...). So I would suggest the Adult Travelcard where every type of public transport is included. The reimbursement of the deposit was also very correct and trouble free. All in all we can highly recommend this place! I think it's hard to find another 80m²-apartment for this price here on HomeAway. Thanks to Julian and Richard!

Bedbugs are just the beginning !!!!!!!!!

My family enjoys VRBO everywhere, incl. England, the Caribbean & Mexico, where Owners greet you with keys in hand. Should have been weary when this owner demanded we pick up keys @ their office or pay for a car to drop them off! We made the mistake of having them leave them in a mystery locations, over 1 km from the flat. OY! Upon arriving at the flat, we were greeted by 62 stairs, yep, 8 flights of 'em. We knew there was no lift, but never expected 4 storeys to climb. Descending in the morning, not bad. Ascending in the evening no fun, but a backbreaker hauling luggage and/or groceries up & down. Luckily, air conditioning is there to cool you down after the climbs - nope, no A/C...really! Upon entering, we found dirty and stained coffee cups, encrusted coffee machine (no filters for the drip one), no dish soap, no hand soap, lint plugged air vent, burned out light bulbs, mildew in the showers, no mattress pads (yuck) or fitted sheets (really) on beds, just top sheets covering mismatched mattress sets and on and on. Took photos, but site has no option to post them. Woke up after the first nights sleep with a rash, which I thought was a reaction to the laundry product they use, so being resourceful, went to stock-up and did a thorough clean & laundry. Next day, advertised 5 minute walk to Maze Station was google mapped to actually be 14 minutes....almost 3 times as long/far. Upon arriving at Maze, we were then told that the routes had been changed 1.5 years ago!!!!! The stated 15 minutes trip to Charring Cross, is actually in total 1-1.5 hours one way & you have to switch to tube at Cannon Street, so cost and time are both increased. Local, not so much! Be ready to burn 2-3 hours just getting to and from Charring Cross. Back at the suite, one the third day our teens found the WiFi unit stuffed under a bed, unplugged. We absorbed roaming costs before we found & rebooted their system. On the last day, my wife & I woke up with another suspicious rash. Upon shaking out bed linens, out fell a bedbug (again, we have photos). My wife freaked!!!!!!!! Upon returning home, doctors confirmed the bed bug bites & we were treated. Our luggage was quarantined & lots of stuff destroyed. We reported this & asked to be fully refunded & to receive a copy of the exterminator's name & report. Owners refunded some rent, never took the unit off the market & refused to provide the name of exterminator or their report. Visit London, but stay anywhere else

Fabulous location, couldn't be happier

This flat has everything you need for a short or long stay in London. 15 minute walk if you feel like strolling into Greenwich, otherwise there are 4+ buses you can take to get to Cutty Sark DLR or to Greenwich North tube station (Jubilee Line). We LOVED staying here. Don't be fooled by other reviews about this location being in Zone 3. It is Zone 2 for Tube and DLR and bus rides are 'zone free' so you can go anywhere on a bus for one flat rate. Dealing with the property managers was simple and painless. I grew up in London and have stayed in most of the boroughs and this by far has been my favourite. Do yourself a favour and book this place! Lots of TV stations, wifi strength was very strong, and the beds were super comfy. My rating falls short of excellent only because the living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable and there was no elevator in the building.

In addition, one must mention that the Southeastern Train Line from Maze Hill Station (5 minute walk from the apartment) is a mere 15 minute journey into London Bridge Station! Have a wonderful day!~

Very nice

La casa è spaziosa, si presenta bene ed è dotata dei vari comfort necessari. La zona circostante è ricca di super-mercati, e ristoranti etnici (o il kfc ^_^).

I Jarvis sono stati gentilissimi e cortesi, spiegandoci tutto quanto e in italiano.

Gli unici difetti sono un po' di spifferi in sala (che in stagione autunnale si sono sentiti) e il fatto di essere in zona 3. Avendo già preso la Oyster per le zone 1 e 2 dovevamo camminare per una mezzoretta ogni volta per giungere alla fermata della zona 2 più vicina (a onor del vero, quando ho fatto la strada a passo sostenuto e non eravamo in 6 ma in 2, ci abbiamo messo solo 15 minuti cronometrati).

Maze Hill, la fermata della zona 3 più vicina, permette di risparmiarsi tranquillamente le lunghe passeggiate, ma in realtà in quella settimana ho imparato ad apprezzarle.


The apartment is spacious, well-presented and comfortable. The zone around it is full of super-markets, and ethnic restaurants (and KFC too ^_^)

The Jarvis have been very nice and polite, explaining everything to us in italian.

The only flaws were the drafts in the main room (and we were there in autumn, so we felt them) and the fact of being in zone 3. Having we already bought the Oyster card for zone 1 and 2, we had to walk for half an hour each time to reach the nearest zone 2 stop (to tell the truth, when I walked with just another of us and we weren't 6 like always, it just took us 15 minutes).

Maze Hill, the nearest zone 3 stop, doesn't require those long walks, but to be honest I learnt to appreciate them that week.

home away from home

As I don't like writing long essays, I'll keep to the most important facts:

- quick responding and helpful management, even in several languages. Tell them any wish or problem and they will do their best to help you

- well fitted, e.g. dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

- several bus lines run past the building

- fast transport to the city by railway

- Greenwich Park and Themse are within walking distance

- nice neighborhood (one of our boys was invited by neighbor boys to play soccer in the little park on the other side of the road)

- many takeaways and restaurants nearby

- good value for money

Yes, I definitely would come here again.

Nice flat, nice area, just go!

We arrived on a Saturday noon and met Julian at the office to get the keys, he gave us very thorough instructions on how to get to the apartment and a nice flyer with the maps of the area. The flat was clean and well provided, all comforts of contemporary life are there. It is spacious and two bathrooms is a great bonus. The area is safe at all hours and there are plenty of ethnic food restaurants close by, I highly recommend the Pub at the Angerstein Hotel, live music almost every night and fun atmosphere.

It is easy. We are in Central London Zone 2. Cutty Sark DLR and Greenwich North Jubilee Line.:-)

This property is approximately a 15 minute walk to Historical Greenwich. The location is ideal. It is perfect because Greenwich Park and Blackheath are nearby and Cutty Sark DLR and Greenwich North is equidistant 15-20 mins walk. It is a perfect location to get to Canary Wharf.. Spectacular new additions to the nearby vicinity will be the ‘02’ Entertainment centre at nearby Greenwich Millennium Village as well as the New East Greenwich Centre (A mixed use-commercial residential centre including the Greenwich Library). Greenwich University is a 5-10 minute walk in.

It is close to the A2 and therefore the commute to Kent and its Golf Courses or into London via car and its attractions is easy. Nearby on the Greenwich Peninsula a strip mall including Sainsburys, B&Q, ASDA, COMET and many others satisfies immediate purchasing needs while the Bluewater Shopping Centre is 20mins.
