Fantastic cottage in Conwy town

  • 5 of 5

As we were meeting my English cousins at Conwy, Colin suggested the cottage rather than their B&B - and what a wonderful place, perfect for the 4 of us. The cottage has everything necessary for that home away from home feeling. The view from the terrace wonderful, the cottage inside the walls of Old Conwy, which provide a wonderful walk around the old town. Colin provided us with a parking voucher, car parking just on the other side of the walls. Conwy and surrounds are absolutely beautiful and we hope that we can return one day.

Captivated by Conwy View Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Having stayed in hotels in Conwy a few times previously (for an annual music festival) my partner and I decided this year to stay in a cottage and we're so glad that we chose Conwy View Cottage. Marvellous customer service from Colin when booking and on arrival he met us at the cottage and showed us everything we needed to know for our week long stay. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and the view of Conwy Castle from the rooftop patio is just wonderful. It's also a perfect base to explore Conwy and the surrounding areas and is just nestled within the town walls, with immediate access to the Conwy Town Walls walk - which is an excellent way to see the town from a high vantage point - the views from the walls are amazing. It's also only a very short stroll to the shops, restaurants and sights of Conwy. We've always had a soft spot for Conwy and always enjoyed our previous stays but I can honestly say that our stay in Conwy View Cottage was far more enjoyable and we can't wait to go back again! Very highly recommended!

Warm and welcoming cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is, as the title suggest, very warm and very welcoming .... and is perfectly placed for the town and surrounding area.

Description is accurate, it was very clean Colin and Monica provided excellent customer service and we've already recommended the cottage to family and friends. The Albion pub is at the bottom of the street justa couple of hundred yards awy and the perfect way to end a day before going back to the cottage .... a proper pub to enjoy a drink and a natter, no music, dog friendly - no food, just the usual crips nuts and superb pork pies!!! It's sister pub is the Bridge, opposite the castle at the top of the one way system - excllent food and service can be found - both pubs are joint owned by 4 breweries and are excellent. Take a walk up onto Conwy Mountain ... walk up from the town, from Mountain Rd or drive along the Sychnant Pass road - actually at the top of Upper Gate St yards away from the cottage - drive a mile or 2 na dpark up and then walk up from the Western end ... the views once on top are breathtaking, Snowdonia to the south, Anglesaye to the west, the Orme and Colwyn Bay to the East ... and a t one point the whole of Conwy below you. Thanks to Colin and Monica for a delightful cottage.

The cottage was fantastic, & couldnt fault it at all, its in a great location & only a few minutes walk into Conwy, where we spent many a evening!!! Its like home from home & we were really sad to leave!! Colin was so very helpful & very approachable. Thank you so very much for making our honeymoon very special.....we now have the wedding blues!!!! lol

Excellent stay - highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

The view from the balcony is just amazing in the evening - staying in an ancient city next to a castle.

The description is spot on. The cottage is wonderful, well appointed and very relaxing, both bedrooms were quite comfortable. My son loved the top bunk and thought it was cosy. There are lots of board games, tv and books for the kids (and adults).

The fireplace was wonderful to curl up in front of after a brisk day exploring castle walls and walking to LLandudno along the beach.

I must say thank you to Colin for being kind (and brave) to guide us through narrow castle walls to parking.

We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Pad for a Happy Holiday!!

  • 5 of 5

A lovely, cosy cottage in a perfect location, close to all the sights of beautiful Conwy yet very peaceful and tucked nicely away in a cute little street. We loved having breakfast on the roof terrace in the sun whilst admiring the view of the castle and the sea. The cottage was spotless and every need was catered for, including a Nintendo Wii for the kids (and big kids like us!!). Colin very kindly gave us bread, milk and a newspaper on arrival which was a really nice touch. We will definitely be returning, in fact we didn't really want to come home! A much recommend place to stay!
