THE HAVEN DESCRIPTION
Make yourself at home at The Haven at Chapel Ridge, a freshly remodeled, stylishly furnished 2 Br/2Ba home on quiet tree-lined street off Chapel Road in Waco, Texas. This charming cottage-style home has an open, airy feel. The home has a spacious primary suite (13'x17') with walk-in closet. The second bedroom has both full and twin beds. There's also a roll-away twin bed tucked away in a closet if needed. With 20 (yes, 20) pillows in the home, you’re sure to find one perfect for you!

Enjoy an extremely well-stocked kitchen with adjacent laundry. Feel free to make yourself comfortable with outdoor seating, gas BBQ grill, and fully fenced yard. The backyard also has two comfy seating areas, complete with café lights and a fire table.

This guest house is perfect for a quick getaway to enjoy a Baylor event, sightseeing Fixer Upper fans, and families wanting to relax.

When not out and about enjoying all Waco has to offer, relax in front of a 50-inch smart HDTV w/Roku for all your favorite streaming, play a board game, or have fun with the Wii gaming system. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a Wolfgang Puck indoor grill, crockpot, and even one of those hotel waffle makers! The Haven is stocked with waffle mix, butter, and syrup to start your day off right! You'll also be greeted with a variety of snacks upon arrival and a special surprise or two. The primary bedroom is equipped with a high quality mattress, a variety of pillow options, and a soundscapes sleep therapy alarm clock to help you get a restful night’s sleep.

What a Beautiful Place to be HomeAway

Everything was as listed in the property description and better. The listing didn't do it justice. The four of our family loved everything about the home we stayed in for a total of fourteen days. The property had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay in central Texas. The added touches that were beyond what was necessary really blew us away. The fridge was stocked with goodies and there were spices and condiments in the cupboards. The array of plates and cutlery was plenty for all of our family. The washer and dryer as well as the dishwasher made life so much easier. Lori Davidson, the owner provided such excellent customer service that was totally unexpected. Nothing is too much trouble. She wants her guests to enjoy their stay at The Haven, and she definitely succeeded in our case. My wife said if the property is available next time we come to Waco, she wants to return as we find the place quiet, homey, and comfortable. The choice between a hotel or The Haven is not even a question that we would ask. As for recommending this place to friends and family, we already have. Our only concern is that Lori looks after her guests so well, that we will have to book well in advance to secure a reservation due to the popularity of The Haven at Chapel Ridge. Being that we live in the UK, we enjoyed things that locals might take for granted. We enjoyed coffee and donuts at Daylight Donuts on Hewitt Drive, shopping at HEB and The Market Place. We enjoyed eating at In-&-Out Hamburgers, Rudy's Bar-b-que, and Chuy's at happy hour. As my daughter expressed it, "The best vacation I have ever had". From our experience, if you stay at The Haven at Chapel Ridge, you will not be disappointed.

Clean home in quiet neighborhood

We have stayed in this home multiple times and it never disappoints. The home is always clean and the hostess is friendly and accessible. We like the location and this visit we enjoyed Mi Casita.

Perfect location for college roommate mini-reunion

My 3 former college roommates and I converged on Waco for a mini-reunion last weekend. The Haven@Chapel RIdge was the perfect location for us to catch up. We found everything we needed in this charming cottage and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The owner was attentive to questions we had and we appreciated all the little details she took care of to make sure we were comfortable, including snacks! I would highly recommend The Haven for a small group of friends or a small family. We just might have to meet again at The Haven next year!

Best VRBO in Waco

This was our second stay. It is a fabulous, clean, nicely decorated home. I've stayed at many VRBO s and this is on my top list. Host left us brownies, ice cream and a basket of snacks! Location is perfect. The gazebo area in back was so cool to relax in. I highly recommend this property you won't be disappointed

We live very close to the Haven at Chapel Ridge and are fond of this area. " The Haven" is perfect for a quick trip or for families needing an inviting place to stay while getting acclimated to the Waco area. This guest home is in the EXCELLENT Midway ISD (Independent School District). The children attend South Bosque Elementary School and River Valley Intermediate.

I taught Spanish (K-12) and English (Higher Ed) for many years and now am enjoying this newer chapter of life. I absolutely love hosting guests at my vacation rentals. I also have been fortunate to grow my business, LULUBELLE'S. You can find LULUBELLE'S shopping spots across town, specializing in vintage clothing and upcycled vintage goods. You can also visit a pop-up LULUBELLE'S market occasionally down by the Silos, Austin Avenue, or in McGregor!

In one direction, you can arrive at Baylor, downtown WACO, and HGTV's Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Market at the Silos within 15 minutes. In the other direction, you can venture to McGregor and visit Joanna Gaines' favorite spots, including the Cedar Chest Antique Mall and their vacation rentals, including their very first one, Magnolia House.
