Gorgeous Gulf of Mexico Views from This Spacious 3 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Condo!

Fantastic Direct-Beachfront 3 Bed/2.5 Bath corner unit with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico located on the 2nd floor! This nicely decorated and sizable unit has a screened lanai, King size bed in Master bedroom, Queen bed in one guest room and two twins in the other. Nice open floor plan allows water views from the kitchen, living/dining room and master bedroom.

One of the newest Gulf front luxury condominiums on Manasota Key, Barefoot Beach Condominiums overlooks a wide expanse of beachfront and has a private heated swimming pool, covered parking and elevator service to each floor in a very convenient beach and waterfront location. (On-site reserved garage parking for one vehicle included with rental. Due to scarcity of premium parking on Key, additional vehicles must be parked off-site for a fee. Ask about options.)

This getaway offers it all… experience the fabulous views from the screened balcony, calm and peaceful morning walks on the beach, breathtaking sunsets, pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico, various marine life and Florida shore birds. Being steps from the shore you will enjoy miles of sandy coastline and “finds” on the beach (shells, sharks teeth, sand dollars, etc).

For those that want to socialize you are within a 5 min walk of several island establishments offering delicious food, drinks and entertainment. Mingle with the locals and other tourists or just find your own private spot and listen to some of the best bands and musicians in the area. Shops and boutiques are also in walking distance of the condo as well as boat and jet ski rentals. Book a parasailing adventure or an Eco tour. Rent a boat for the day and explore our barrier islands or leave the driving to the experts and book a fishing charter for some world class fishing. Another option is to stop in at the fresh fish market and pick up something “just caught” to take back to cook for dinner. Just a 5 minute drive takes you into “town” with major grocery and departments stores, restaurants and our quaint “Dearborn St” with its dining, shopping and special events.

Manasota Key is a small barrier island on the southwest coast of Florida. In comparison to many of the modern areas in this part of the state, Manasota Key exhibits Old World charm. Like many coastal towns, the most popular activities here are beach activities. However, golfing, outdoor recreation and art galleries are also fun to visit in the area.

Nice spacious condo in a quiet area

Condo building seems new, condo large and comfortable, good covered parking, great lanai!! Beach is not very wide, so you are right near the water. Big kitchen, granite countertops, great refrigerator with ice & water dispensing. Big master bath with 2 sinks, separate shower & tub. Good Wifi. The area is quiet and mostly residential. Restaurants within walking distance. Negatives: the pool is tiny and wedged in a corner by the parking garage, no view of gulf, so look at photos if you plan to use a pool (we didn't). Beach had lots of small shells on it and sand was soft, so it was not a very good running or walking beach compared to Siesta Key and other Gulf Coast beaches we visited on this trip.

This is just me, but we were asked to sign multiple forms and mail in a check for $52 to the rental office, and there were warnings about how they couldn't possibly replace toilet paper for the next renters, so we needed to replace what we used, things that are cumbersome and annoying. We (2 of us, married, for a 3-bedroom condo) are careful and considerate people, so I felt that management and/or owners were not as welcoming as they could be.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to post a review our condo on the beach. We are very pleased you enjoyed the condo and hope you will return to stay with us in the future. We agree that the sand is softer here than the hard packed beaches of Siesta Key but love the fact that it is nowhere near as crowded and has more of a small town feel. We apologize if you found the application process difficult. This is the first time anyone has ever mentioned this and possibly it was because you did not have the ability to return the forms to us by email or text and had to mail them at the post office. We want to make sure our guests have a streamlined process for rentals but we must also follow the rules of the homeowners association. They do require the parking pass fee and application but this helps to make sure that only authorized guests are parking in the private parking lot which is monitored closely. Regarding the condo supplies I believe there may have been some confusion there, we always provide our guests with a starter pack of paper goods, soap, etc. but do ask our guests to purchase any additional items they may need. I am not sure what we could have done differently to be more accommodating to you other than personally meet you at the condo. We allow our guests to do a self check-in which gives them the flexibility to arrive at their convenience and we are always available by phone and email. Thank you.

Thanks so much to our hosts for making this beautiful condo available for us to stay. When we walked in the views were unbelievable! The photos don't do it justice! We love englewood beach and this condo made us able to really make the most of our time because it's directly on the beach. It had everything we needed and we could tell it was well maintained and modern. Thanks so much and we look forward to visiting again!

Great Beach Condo on Manasota Key

We rented the condo for 3 couples and the condo was very roomy, clean and comfortable for us. The screened in porch has a wonderful and close view of the water and there is easy access to the uncrowded beach. There is one parking space for the condo so the other 2 cars had to be parked elsewhere for a separate fee, but it is a short walk.

The only things lacking were enough silverware for dinners and some cooking utensils. This is in no way a negative though, since you can certainly make do!

We wanted to return next year but this popular condo is already book-so plan ahead.

Stump Pass is within walking distance. We bought seafood at Twin Lobsters (5 minutes away) and found good golf courses close by.

We would recommend this property very highly. Kim, the owner's representative, was easy to contact for any questions before we arrived and for the one question we had while we were there.

Wonderful stay and can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at this very clean and spacious condo. We were lucky enough to have 80 degree weather in December the whole week we were there. The kids played on the beach every day and the condo provided beach chairs, surf boards and a large beach umbrella . There was an outdoor shower to rinse off all the sand before you entered back into the complex. The views from the condo are amazing! You can watch the sun set out the front window right over the ocean and I got plenty of gorgeous pictures of my children playing on the beach in the sunset. The beach area in front of the condo was very nice with lots of shells and not crowded with people. There was a Walmart down the road about 3 miles, or a Publix that was only 1 mile. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals. We would definitely go back to this condo and hope to go back again soon. The only thing I can say that was a concern was the door handle to get into the condo. It was wobbly and hard to unlock; and I wished there was a dead bolt or extra lock on the inside. I like to feel very safe during the night.

Absolutely Beautiful Place!

We loved everything about this place. The pictures don't do it justice. It's very open, spacious, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and stocked with pretty much everything needed. Has beautiful views of the gulf and is quiet and peaceful but close to shopping and restaurants. Our grandson enjoyed collecting shells and sharks teeth on the beach. We walked to Flounders for dinner 3 times. Great food and live music. Would also recommend a pontoon boat tour with Captain Bruce at Lemon Bay Tours. Only about a mile from condo. So much fun! We saw manatees, dolphins, an eagle and many different kinds of birds. Can't wait to return next year.

Take a leisurely drive up Manasota Key through Canopy Road where trees line and cover the winding road creating peaceful and scenic settings. Discover other wonderful beaches and gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico.

There are so many places and different types of fishing in the surrounding area. South-west Florida is truly an angler's dream come true. The many choices include Boca Grande Pass, Stump pass, Red Fish Key, Charlotte Harbor try surf fishing, bridge and pier fishing, kayak fishing, wading, backwater and offshore fishing. Boat rentals are nearby as well as party boat fishing. Fish on!

Enjoy sightseeing/nature cruises on the beautiful waters of Lemon Bay, the Intracoastal waterway & the Florida Gulf. View wildlife up close: dolphins, bald eagles, hawks, egrets, pelicans, osprey, manatees and other marine life and birds.

Enjoy the sounds of the sea and the warmth of the sun while practicing yoga on your own or participate in the Beach yoga gathering at the Public Beach just up the street. Classes also offered for beginners.

Paddleboard rental with delivery to the condo or well designed tours for every level and instruction for beginners.

Stump Pass Beach State Park is located less than a mile to the south of the condo. The 245 acre park consists of three islands and the protected channels between them. Anglers fish the surf for prize catches and visitors come to this secluded beach to enjoy the year-round swimming, sunbathing and shelling. A hiking trail passes through five distinct natural communities that provide homes for many species of wildlife; covered picnic tables are located along the trail. Visitors can launch a kayak and paddle around the two islands just east of the park's land base. While at the park, visitors might see West Indian manatees, gopher tortoises, snowy egrets, least terns, and magnificent frigate birds. Ranger-led nature hikes are available in the winter.
