The bungalow offers by its location the optimal mix between peace in the large and lofty garden as well as sea view on the approx. 1km distant beach. Feel free nature undisturbed by tourism.

In our casita you will find a modern well-being studio, in which up to 3 people can leave their daily routine behind. After a long day at the nearly deserted beach, the surrounding forests or many tours in the surrounding area, you can relax in the large studio on the king size bed, enjoy the romantic sunsets from your own viewing deck or relax with a novel or a good movie. Share the experiences of the day with your friends over the existing internet. If you like to cook this will be in our fully equipped kitchen for a pleasant experience. Enjoy dinner or relax with wine on the panormadeck or directly in the house through the wide panoramic glass door.

We, Lars and Sascha, look forward to welcoming you and will be happy to show you the many special features of the area as well as the colorful plants and animals in our little oasis of well-being. Awesome and rural

This place is special! If you are looking to get away from crowds, this is the place. Realize it is a 3+ hour drive from Liberia over dirt roads and mountain passes- you will need 4x4 during rainy season and driving is required to visit nearby attractions. There is a beach within walking distance and town is near enough to walk to with some delicious and affordable food. Casa is cute, lovely scenic deck. It is not sealed well, so have your bug smashing devices and bug repellent ready, we also had frog and gecko visits. This area is also very hot and humid, and may require some adjustment as the casa does not have air conditioning. Perfect if you want to experience local Tico culture, may not be a great fit for someone looking for a curated tourist experience.

Playa coyote

Our stay with Sasha and Lars was amazing! The tower above our casita had an awesome view of playa coyote and the sunset. One evening the monkeys came to watch the sunset with us! The casita is close to town as well the beach. Perfect location! The beach is perfect for beginning surfing. On the weekdays hardly anyone on the beach, we even had it to ourselves on one occasion. We had a blast. Definitely will be back!

A serene rest

I came frazzled and needing repair, and this place did it. Sunrise with coffee and sunset with yoga from the platform high over the casita was a high point of every day. The casita was completely quiet and restful. Lars and Sascha were kind and helpful and gave me all the privacy I needed. On the day I felt like adventuring I found a thrilling hike at a nearby nature reserve. I’ll be back.

Just Incredible!

Absolutely gorgeous area and pretty much a private beach. Am planning to retire to CR and this was one of five locations to look at, definitely in the top two. It was relaxing beyond belief, the casita was better than described, and the hosts were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Everything I might have needed was there and the balcony view was beyond beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Highly recommend to any one that just wants to lay back and enjoy CR. Thank you Sascha & Lars for providing a great and affordable place!

A sense of well being

I can certainly recommend this property for a shorter or longer stay near one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. I enjoyed the sea view from the terrace. The bungalow is new and fully equipped for an independent stay, and it was clean and cosy, I felt well cared for by the friendly hosts, who welcomed me and showed me the accommodations and shopping and restaurant facilities in the nearby village. The sunsets into the ocean and the starry sky were breathtaking. I am already planning my next holiday there.

Why do two Germans move to Costa Rica? Already during our first holiday together in Denmark, we realized that a house on the beach is the goal of our lives. Different, as we are, both of us - Lars was a software developer in Germany and Sascha was a teacher - had this goal that forged us together.

But where should the journey go? Mallorca, Southern Spain, Greece? All fascinating destinations!
But already in the first holiday in Costa Rica we were sure: here we want to live - self-determined. During our travels across the country, we found our beautiful house in Playa Coyote and felt right at home. The air, the ocean, the people and the attitude to life immediately captured us here.

Soon the desire began to mature in us to become good hosts. On the one hand, of course, to make money here, but above all to meet people from all over the world and to give you a nice time with us. In 2014 we started renting our cottage to holidaymakers. Our guests were, at least they told us and wrote it in reviews, immediately loved our house and felt comfortable here.
