Celtic Shores 14 - Modern apartment with stunning sea views

April 2009, 2010,2011 & 2012 - awarded the Visit Britain gold award for exceptional quality of accommodation and customer service.

Celtic Shores is a modern development of luxury, security gated apartments situated right on the beach in the pretty coastal village of Downderry, about 8 miles east of Looe. The accommodation is on the first floor easily accessed by stairs or lift and this spacious apartment has a good sized balcony with garden furniture and wonderful sea and coastal views.

The main living area is the open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen and it is from here that the balcony is accessed. There is colour TV, DVD and radio/CD player etc. The kitchen is very well fitted with a ceramic hob set in a marble work surface, a built in oven and microwave, fridge and freezer The washer/drier is situated in the small utility room. The double bedroom with king sized bed has an en-suite shower room and there is a beautifully appointed family bathroom. A twin bedded room completes the accommodation.

Two, secure car parking spaces are provided and there are communal gardens leading to the adjoining beach.

The efficient underfloor heating system, thermostatically controlled by room ensures a comfortable stay at any time of the year.

The picturesque old port of Looe can be reached in under 15 minutes and Downderry offers good local facilities, restaurants, pub and shops, etc. Cycling, fishing (sea, river and lake, shark, coarse & game), golf, riding, sailing,swimming, the beach, water sports, bowls & tennis are all available nearby.

There are wonderful National Trust houses and gardens easily accessible and the city of Plymouth is reachable in under half an hour. Truro is just over the hour away, the Eden Project about a forty minute drive and the north Cornish coast, Padstow, etc., about an hours journey.
