About this property

You will be staying inside the oldest form of human accomodation - a traditional cave. Preserved in its original form & character, combined with modern facilities to make your stay comfortable. The cave keeps you cool during the summer and warm during the winter. Therefore we offer 'natural airconditioning'. Located in a picturesque old village with local neighbours, away from the crowds, experience private and local island life, while being close to the center Fira. Parking is 200 meters away.

It is recommended for to rent a car to explore Santorini and get to the cave which is a bit off the beaten track. In order to reach the central bus station in Karterados you may walk through the traditional settlement (10 to 15 mins), passing a charming mix of beautiful churches, captains's houses, newly renovated villas and abandoned ruins.
