Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Even though the view is beautiful, there is a water issue that is unbearable. The water stinks extremely bad and seems unsafe. I recommend that you stay somewhere else unless you plan on not washing your hands and showering.
Our entire group was very pleased with the property and everything it had to offer. Great views, plenty of sleeping quarters, entertainment. Overall great location!
Here are the issues we experienced:
Unusable water due to salt water infiltration (too disgusting to even brush your teeth)
Cobwebs throughout house
Burnt out light bulbs throughout house
Disgustingly dirty walls and floor boards throughout house
Rusted dishwasher inside
Missing door shelf inside fridge
Basement bedroom smells strongly of urine and wet dog. Repeated treatments of Lysol and leaving window open did nothing to help.
Basement bathroom in disrepair
All faucets corroded and/or rusting
Only 2 of 4 burners on stove worked properly
Stove exhaust vent broken
I'm a landlord and my brother does property management. It was clear to both of us that nothing but the bare minimum has been done here for a long time. It requires a deep cleaning and extensive maintenance before it's worth the money. With both of those done it could be nice again. We have asked for a refund.
It's the view from the kitchen, specially in the morning.
Nice place. The house is a little older but has plenty of room and a great location. The hot tub is huge and has a great view of the stars.
If you're looking for for a quiet, romantic, maybe even luxurious getaway. Well, look elsewhere. However, if you've got a group of friends and family, and need room to spread out, then this might be for you.
You're not going to walk to the beach from this property, but it's a calm setting where you can gaze over the smooth waters of Tillamook Bay. Heron and Bald Eagles are the regulars.
The well water is a bit metallic in smell and taste, but the proper owners provide bottled drinking water in the kitchen....thanks for your consideration on this and a number other attention to details which make it easy for bbq, hot-tubbing, recycling, and laundry.....
Cleaning fee seems a bit steep, but with the square footage that needs to be cleaned, I guess it's in line. Wear and tear starting to show inside the property.
