Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Thank you so much for a great stay at your home. The kitchen is amazing, living area so cozy.
We would certainly rent this property again.
House was great. We were able to tie up a 16 ft boat to the dock - nice for anyone who enjoys boating. The owner when we saw him could not have been nicer or more helpful for dining suggestions etc.
This house is a great bargain for boat owners wanting to keep their boat in the backyard.
Beautiful place, great location, nice facility, I wish I could've stayed longer
We stayed here for a family reunion and loved it! We met John the owner of the property (who lives on his boat in the canal behind the house) and he was very helpful and friendly. He even accepted our invitation to a gumbo dinner party one night. Our whole family crew--(with families staying at several different properties in the area) ended up gathering each night for dinner at this property because it has so much space and such a great kitchen. We didn't use the upstairs loft, but did use the fold out futon couch most nights, which in addition to the 2 nice bedrooms made for plenty of sleeping space. The master bedroom with bath is especially beautiful. Choosing this home made our whole family reunion that much nicer since we ended up all gathering at it each night.
My wife and I are local to the area but rented this house for 4 nights up through the weekend of the Blue Angels Airshow so we could enjoy several days on the water for our "stay-cation". The house is beautiful, the owner (John) is friendly and did not impose on our occupancy of his home in any way, and the location was perfect for a week of relaxing fun on the water.
The only thing I noted that was not expected was a minor discrepancy in the current description of this home on the Vacasa web page in that the dock will accommodate a boat up to 50' in length. My boat measures 30' from bow pulpit to the back of the bracket on which my motors are mounted. John asked me to ensure that the back of my boat did not cross his neighbor's "property line". With my motors sticking over this line by about 6" the bow pulpit was very close to encroaching on the area where John's boat was tied. It would be difficult to tie a larger boat up while adhering to the requirements to keep it all on this property's dock.
