Modern, well maintained and equipped accommodation which is ideally situated with excellent sea views, a walled corner garden on a private secure gated estate. High speed internet 'super infinity' access (free) having top speed available (around 50 mpbs) and downloads are unlimited. LED TVs (42 inch 'Smart' - for 2015) with DVD/sound system. Outside solar shower. Direct sea & beach views &, beyond to the Isle of Wight, especially from the fully glassed lounge & full sized large front balcony/sundeck. A great 3 bed Beach House, sleeping up to 6 comfortably (4/5 adults + 2 kids), with private access to an uncrowded beach. An unusual 2 storey house with spacious open plan living over 4 levels internally. Good communal estate play areas and be on the beach in under a minute where the waters are shallow & the tide can go out a few hundred yards. Swimming is excellent with the vicinity recognised for water sports, incl surfing & kayaking. Reknowned for fossil hunting at low tide & small fossils can often be found. The East & West Witterings are 20 & 40 mins beach walk away - less by bike. Numerous good nearby attractions.

Beachside House

Holiday started well with a kind & helpful welcome from the housekeeper. The layout of the house was intriguing, having 4 floors in a 2 storey house. The house (almost on the beach) was beautifully maintained & decorated, and had contemporary furnishings. The only fault for me personally (a pensioner) was that I would have appreciated a handrail on the stairs.

The 2 sundecks/balcony's were wonderful. For sun worshippers one of them was always in the sunlight, or conversely, shade, for those of us who cannot cope with extreme heat. We had the 2 hottest weeks last summer. I spent hours in the shade in the mornings on the glass fronted front balcony reading & just enjoying the wonderful view over the sea to the Isle of Wight. The same view was enjoyed from the lounge through the huge patio windows. At low tide one could walk for miles along the sea shore, & even the horses from the local stables came for their dip in the sea & a canter along the beach through the shallow water.

When I accidently locked us out of the house the housekeeper came to our rescue. We cannot speak too highly of her helpfulness & care, & she is a great asset to the owners. Having a safe parking space just outside the house was great. We enjoyed some lovely meals which were good value for money at the nearby Pond Barn Restaurant. We had a really lovely holiday.

Great place to stay

We stayed at Marineside from Friday to Monday. The property is amazing, very comfortable for six of us. Grandparents, Parents and two small children. Everything you could possibly want from a holiday home. We were very lucky with weather and spent at least a couple of hours each day on the beach walking and digging streams! No complaints whatsoever and we would love to stay again

Clean,comfortable, well equippedp

Good comfortable home, really well equipped and clean, bed in top bedroom got complaints for being worn out and could have done with more/ bigger towels. Other than that very good.

Fantastic location spotless home

this let was my favourite stay! Great location, swam everyday can bring a cuppa down to the beach! The most well equipped home we have stayed at full of lovely quality fixtures and equipment. All you could need very enjoyable 😊

Fantastic family holiday.

Fabulous house which had all you needed for a family holiday including excellent broadband for the teenagers in the group.

The location and the views were great, shops and a restaurant within walking distance and many interesting sightseeing opportunities within a short drive.

Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful beach retreat

This property is a beautiful well equipped holiday home, perfect for a family get away.

I would say it comfortably sleeps 4 adults and two children with one of the rooms having a bunk beds in it but we did have a small adult sleep on the bottom bunk who was comfortable enough.

It has a lovely outdoor space which shields the beach winds but is also a stones throw from the beach for lovely beach walks.

The beach views from the balcony and living room are fab.

I would definitely stay again.

Tiny tiny thing that I think needs addressing is the downstairs bathroom is very drafty when the wind is blowing up and the door does not stay shut when shut from the outside so the adjacent bedroom became a little chilly in the evening.

With views across to the Isle if Wight, Bracklesham Bay village is 0.5km away & has a small selection of shops & restaurants typical of any English seaside town - including fish & chips, ice creams & buckets & spades etc. Nearby East Wittering has more extensive quality shopping including bakers, butchers, fishmongers and mini supermarkets. Windsurfing & sailing is popular in the waters off Bracklesham Bay & The Witterings. The colourful sails racing at great speed over the water is a spectacle to watch. Walking on the sand at low tide for several miles in either direction is also popular. The Bracklesham beach area is renown for fossil hunting and at low tide small items can sometimes be found - a pastime for children. West wittering is a UK top 10 beach and is 10 minutes away by car or, for the more adventurous, can be reached on foot along the beach front at low tide

The main nearby town is Chichester which is a short distance away - about 15 minutes by car. The ancient Roman city is famous for the theatre, cathedral, art galleries, museums, restaurants, canal & shopping centre. It also offers offers bars, clubs, multi-screen cinema & a good rail link to London.

Weekly lets are normally Saturday to Saturday, particularly in high season, in order to manage housekeeping turnaround (cleaning, bed linen & bed making). Entry is normally 3pm and departure no later than 10.30am to allow our housekeeper access which is common practice with letting.
