Down stairs there is a half bath, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, living/dining room, wood floors, cable TV, Wi-Fi and 2 open porches with seating.This oceanfront resort is a boutique complex of 52 homes inspired by Key West architecture that was built in 2007. Gate community, located off the Old Hwy at MM 86 in Islamorada. Amenities include a community pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and 500ft of private beach. The home’s boat slip is available for rent with a deep channel out to the Atlantic. Be at Alligator Light house or the Famous Islamorada (Holiday Isle) sandbar in minutes. Launch your kayak or paddleboard from the private beach

Come on down and put your toes in the sand. It's always better in the Florida Keys.Angler’s Reef is the perfect place for all fishing and diving enthusiasts. Islamorada is known as “The Sport fishing Capital of the World”. Water activities abound including: diving, snorkeling, Para sailing, kiteboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, and more. You may even spot manatees at the Dock. Fine dining and unique shops are within walking distance: Island Grill (Famous for their tuna nachos) serving breakfast, lunch and dinner oceanfront with live music. For late night entertainment, walk on over to Hog Heaven for a fun night of dancing. Also, within in walking distance is Theatre of the Sea, where you can watch a live dolphin show or even swim with the dolphins!

Excellent Property - perfect location

This house is in an amazing spot. Overlooking the pool and the ocean. A slip was included for our boat as well. We just love Angler's Reef. Our friends rented a couple of other 2 bedrooms and they kept telling us how much they liked ours. This unit is a larger 2 bedroom vs others in the community. Huge bedrooms and a nice kitchen/family great-room for hanging out. We will definitely be back!

Ernest Hemingway would have loved this place.

This property and unit was immaculate. Unit 150 was a perfect location near the pool and boat dockage with clear views of both without any noise disturbance. The boat trailer parking is outside the front gate entry off the roadway in the grass. We were a little concerned about the safety of parking there, but all was fine. Nobody disturbed anything on our boat or trailer. You definitely can only tie up one boat per slip, but can procure extra slips for a fee from $200-300 per week. Dockage was very convenient to ocean or bay access, fuel, and Cheeca Rock and Alligator reefs. Unit 150 was furnished with beautiful Tommy Bahama type furniture and all the towels and kitchen essentials you could need, mixer, blender, measuring cups, and the regular coffee maker that uses filters and bagged coffee. They even had several coolers to take along on your journeys. The day we left we discovered a bait freezer in the storage box under the carport. The carport can accommodate 2 cars parked one behind the other. Mosquitos can be a problem in September, so be sure to bring something to keep them at bay. The front and back doors often don't latch when you close them, the mechanism sticks open, so watch behind you when you leave or enter to keep those mosquitoes out. The only thing that didn't work was the refrigerator ice dispenser. We fixed it once, but it soon didn't work again. It made plenty of ice though. The unit has an on demand water heater which gives you all the hot water you want. All in all we had a great time, although by September all the legal sized lobsters are on someone else's dinner table.

Absolutely perfect

We had a fantastic week at Anglers Reef. The house was just right, exactly as shown in the listing, with an amazing view of the pool and the ocean right off the porch. The grounds are impeccable and the vibe is very laid back and friendly.

Great family vacation

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week-long vacation at Angler's Reef! This is the first time we've rented in a resort in Islamorada and we loved all the amenities. The resort is in a great location in Islamorada, close to restaurants and shops both north and south, and the house is a perfect location in the resort, right near the pool, beach and boat slips, with a great view of the ocean. We brought our boat with us so having the slip available was great, and just being a few steps from the slip was even better! We were on the boat every day, snorkeled at all 3 nearby reefs (Cheeca Rocks, Hen and Chickens and Alligator Lighthouse) and did a lot of fishing both in the ocean and across the bay in Flamingo. Caught sharks, redfish and snook in the bay, and tuna, grouper, snapper and wahoo in the ocean. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and has a great layout. My only suggestion would be to add a blender and some more silverware. Jennifer the manager was very responsible and helpful with providing information on boat ramps, boat slips and trailer parking. We'd definitely rent this house again!

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing.

We had a wonderful time and a fabulous family vacation. Layout of the house was perfect for our family and worked great for our 2 young adult sons. The pictures on the website are accurate. This was our second trip to Islamorada and will not be our last, we will rent this property next time as well.

Relaxing visit

We spent our spring break here (April 2-April 9). The resort was not too busy at all, which was nice. At any given time, there was no more than maybe 10-15 people at the pool. Nice and clean resort and our condo was very comfortable as well. It was nicely stocked with kitchen essentials AND a grill! It was certainly nice to be grilling outside in Florida while our friends back in Michigan were sending pictures of a snow storm that dropped over a 1/2 ft of snow. Our condo had a spacious master bed/bath and the main floor has beautiful hardwood floors.

If you do want to eat out, make sure you visit Island Grill and M.E.A.T. Wonderful food and friendly staff at both places.
