About Judith Orloff
We bought the house because we fell in love with the view. We have dedicated ourselves to making the house and the property something that we love. We have planted tress and flower gardens, and have two large vegetable gardens. Our last outside project: a back patio, is wrapping up this week. We act in local plays, go to the farmer's market, enjoy the terrific local scene. We also spend lots of time outdoors both nearby and in the high country.

Why Judith Orloff chose Longmont
This property has an amazing view. Both mountains and lake. It is quiet. The gardens are beautiful year round. Although we are only 5 minutes from Boulder it is tranquil. We are in the midst of great wildlife viewing; Bald Eagles during the day and Owls at night.
What makes this Apartment unique
The best thing about our house is that you can be in Denver one minute and the country the next. Or you can ski in the morning and have a great meal in Boulder that evening. CU connection, we are ten minutes away. Or... just stay home and sit on one of the terraces and soak up the view. We welcome business travelers. With high speed internet and a wireless printer your work can get done while enjoying he beautiful view.

Very comfortable. I love the area because it is just out of Boulder, very quiet with great access.
Front row view of beautiful hills and dramatic weather
This apartment is so well appointed for a comfortable stay. Books, throws, games, flat screen tv can hardly compete with the expansive view out the French doors and windows! Jonathan and Judith are welcoming and discreet. I look forward to returning here when art brings me back to Boulder.
Country setting, beautiful views with peace and quiet!
We felt at home here and will look forward to staying again next time in Boulder.
We loved having you stay here with your wonderful, interesting son. I smiled and felt openhearted the whole time.
A true retreat
Cozy home, plenty of natural light, and you can't beat the views. Books and records for days and days, and plenty of blankets and pillows, which really came in handy during our unexpected October snow day. I already miss this place. Judith and Jonathan were communicative, helpful and delightful, and gave us all the space in the world to enjoy ourselves. A perfect getaway for a couple. Great location, 10 mins or less into Boulder (the drive is beautiful).
peaceful, comfortable and clean
We enjoyed our stay with Judith and Jonathan very much. They are nice, helpful and interesting to talk to; hosts who let you have all the privacy you wish but are there if you need anything.
The view is gorgeous and the area very quiet and peaceful.
Referring to the last review, we agree that a dresser and more hangers would be comfortable. However, the lock works perfectly, and regarding the kitchen/cooking, it is just as described. It has everything to prepare and enjoy meals.
The place was actually much bigger than we imagined from the pictures.
We would definitely stay here again.
the good and the less good
Arrived at this property, it was unlocked as the owner said it would be. After unpacking our car and thinking about dinner, we look for the directions for locking up while we were gone. The lockbox that was described in the directions was not to be found. We called the # that we had for the owner & left a message. We decided to go ahead, and ran into the owners as we were leaving. (They live upstairs in this house) Of course we asked about locking up and were told that, well, they had a lockbox but it didn't work well so they're going to put a regular lock on the door but hadn't done that yet. So, every time we left we had to leave the door unlocked, which the owners didn't seem to think was any problem. There was a deadbolt that could be locked when we were there. A large unit inside. No dresser in the bedroom and only a few hangers in the closet. Don't stay here if you plan to do any cooking on your trip as the kitchen is minimal at best - I think there were 5 glasses in total and 4 coffee cups, but plenty of plates and flatware. Kuerig coffee maker but no K-cups. Owners don't seem to be serious about this as a business.
Our home is just 3 miles north of Boulder Colorado on a quiet acre. Once your settled you can sit out on the patio and take in the view, often you can see the reflection of the foothills in the lake.
You can take your car and be on the famous Pearl St. Mall in about 15 minutes. The next day you can take the road north, stop for lunch in scenic Lyons on your way to Rocky Mt. National Park, just an hour away.
Denver; with it's museums, Zoo, restaurants and shopping is less than an hour. There is hiking both on the flat plains and in the foothills right by the house. The Indian Peaks Wilderness with thousands of acres of hiking, backpacking, and cross country skiing is 45 minutes up a beautiful canyon drive. Every drive is scenic.
Downtown Boulder offers excellent dining and shopping, movies, world class Shakespeare and all that a large university has to offer.
