We were very charmed by the warm & friendly welcome we received from Suzanne & Andrew: they are both very helpful £ accommodating. They really are a charming couple & also very interesting to speak with.
The property is very clean & has absolutely everything you will need on your stay. We only had to bring our personal belongings. It was all very easy & straightforward & it made our stay very pleasant.
With a fridge & a freezer, it was also very practical & it limited unnecessary expenses. We were in Plymouth for 6 days for our 14 yr old son's British National finals in his sport & were very keen on him getting plenty of sleep at night: it is so so quiet there that we never actually heard any noise during the night. Also, we suffer from back problems: not a problem as the mattress was very good too!
We could go on & on about how much we enjoyed staying in this property & really hope to stay there again next year if the finals are held in Plymouth again!
Suzanne & Andrew: thank you so very much for your warm welcome & everything you have done to assist us & make our stay as easy & pleasant as possible while in Plymouth! With kind regards from Sophie, Simon & Thomas :)
(Norway went really well: silver on platform, 5th on 1m & bronze on 3m = happy child!).
Just returned home after a second stay. The apartment is a real home from home. Suzanne left Easter eggs for my grandchildren which were gratefully received and a lovely gesture. We are hoping to return to Plymouth later this year and will definitely be staying again if the apartment is available. Many Thanks, Andrea.
I never bother to write a review but for this one, i just couldn't hold back. Very clean, well-maintained and comfortable property. We had anything we required to make you feel like your are living in your own house. And the price of our stay was very comfortable for me to pay. My girlfriend and i, enjoyed every minute of it! Mrs Suzanne was very polite and caring for us. And that's plus for me! Thank you Mrs Suzanne! We had a lovely time. When we will come again to Plymouth in the future, i will not hesitate to book this property. Once again, thank you for making our stay, very comfortable for us!
Christos and Jacoba.
Our second stay at this great apartment. Very well appointed and we will be back! A real home from home.
Couldn't believe our luck when we found this place! Very convenient for Plymouth City Centre, a well equipped comfortable apartment for 2-4 people. Great for short stays. We have only used once when we moved our daughter from one student house to another but would definitely use again when we are visiting our daughter. Suzanne and her husband were very friendly and welcoming, lovely couple!
Mount Batten water sports centre for those who like to sail, canoe, wind surf, diving etc worth while booking direct with the centre beforehand. Vue Cinema complex next to mega bowl and plenty of restaurants including Pizza Hut, there is also Oceana Night Club in this complex and plenty of parking.
Cycling or walking to Saltram House which belongs to the National Trust with its large grounds to explore, this cycle track then leads to Dartmoor. Dartmoor National Park with its rivers, tors and old pubs is well worth a visit.
The Barbican is full of history with its cobbled streets, the Mayfower Steps where the Pilgrim Fathers departed but also has the modern touch with many pubs and restaurants with outside seating giving it the Mediterranean feel with sailing boats and fishing boats there is plenty to see.
The Hoe has an outside pool (summer months only) with lovely views over the sound.
