One of the most desirable areas in Los Angeles! Close to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. This area is unofficially called Beverly Grove and also Mid City West
A car is the best mode of transportation in Los Angeles
If you are not driving, UBER/LYFT is also a great method of transportation. Download the Uber App on your phone and have a black car on your door for the same price as a taxi. To save money try using UBERX option. Download Uber on your iphone or android and enter promo code GET20OFF for 20$ off your first ride!
Bus stop 3rd St. at Sweetzer Ave. also at Wilshire Blvd at San Vicente Blvd. and also at San Vicente Blvd. at Drexel Ave. All are only a few blocks away. If you will be using the bus a lot we suggest downloading the "Go Metro" phone app. It's very helpful in planning your trips while here in Los Angeles. You need to know that the bus system in this city is pretty darn abysmal in terms of frequency of busses driving by though.
Don't forget, tons to walk to. - Check out our Guidebook!
We will provide you with a street parking visitor pass if you have a car. It is valid for your entire stay and there is no charge but we must have the visitor pass returned to us before you leave.
What can we say - we feel spoiled living here. It's the best walking neighborhood in Los Angeles!
Foodies, there is everything from walk-up juice bars to Michelin-Star fine dining, all within a couple blocks. This is the "Restaurant Row" of Los Angeles and these are the restaurants that are on the "Best Of" lists.

Our stay at Roslyn and Yossi's place was very nice and cozy. Everything was in working order and very clean. The hosts were also very nice. We would recommend staying at their place.
I stayed for one month recently at this incredible guest house! I arrived to find a bottle of wine along with wonderful chocolate covered pretzels as well as tea biscuits!! The guest house was adorable and spotlessly clean. The pool/patio area was a great place to sit on a sunny day! The environment was so welcoming; Roslyn and Yossi are very, very nice helpful people. The area is fabulous! You can walk to everything from restaurants to clothing stores, to Cedar Sinai Hospital, to Beverly Grove, to CVS, Trader Joes and Whole Foods! I felt very safe here.
Loved their attention to detail. It was the best night's rest I've had in a long time. Beautiful decor, blooming flowers and wonderful gardens everywhere. I wish I could have spent more time there! I will be back!
Great place , great location. Very clean and everything you need is there . Lots of attention to details , a bottle of wine to welcome you , fresh coffee ... Roslyn and her husband Yossi make you very welcome . I would definitely go back and stay there . I had to leave one day earlier for personal reasons and was reimbursed for that night . Impressive.
Oasis is a perfect description of Roz and Yossi's Guest House. My friend and I recently spent a week in L.A.. It was our first time there and I could only say it was enhanced by our delightful accommodations. We had no trouble quickly settling in and finding everything we needed. The Guest House has every amenity you could possibly need. It has been decorated to utilize space in a most effective way, maintaining a minimalist design. The bed is very comfortable and the little couch is perfect for two people working away on ipads. There is lots of cupboard and drawer space, so you will not have to live out of a suitcase.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a gas oven, a microwave, a toaster oven and a French press coffee maker. Roz even supplies you with fresh coffee beans and packets of cream to get you started. Another nice touch was the bottle of wine and chocolate covered blueberries. Outside, is a beautiful salt water pool, that Yossi keeps immaculate for the full use of the guests and if you see him out tending his bountiful garden, he will no doubt offer you a kumquat or a lemon. Roz and Yossi will respect your privacy, yet they are only a text away if you need them.
I would rate this accommodation as a 10. We look forward to returning again.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days after a very busy trade show in Anaheim. Since we are from Canada, and left snowy and cold weather, we thoroughly enjoyed one entire day just lounging around the pool in the back yard. Its a beautiful, private little oasis in the heart of Los Angelos. The first evening, we walked 3 blocks to the best cheesecake I've ever tasted at Joan's on Third - so good in fact that we went back and got more the next night. There were many restaurants on third that looked amazing, and the LA Farmers Market was also within walking distance which had tons of food selections - something for everybody. I was training for a 10k run, and had no issues running around the neighborhood which is lovely and safe.
The host and hostess were very nice and even though they lived in the main house, we hardly ever saw them except when they took their little dog Dixie out (who is adorable). We honestly felt like this was our little private oasis away from the world. Internet worked awesome - tv had tons of stations and bed was comfortable and I had the best sleeps. Also was very nice to have a small fridge, stove, microwave and sink to have some cold drinks and snacks on hand and coffee in the morning.
Would most definitely stay here again and honestly hope to.
There are no good words to describe the perfection of my 4-week stay at this little gem.
You aren't just staying in someone's guest house - you are truly Ros and Yossi's guests from before you arrive until even after you've left.
I arrived after a pretty grueling day of travel - including brake failure in my rental car - and was ready to collapse with exhaustion and stress. I was greeted with such a warmth and a nurturing energy. Not to mention, a bottle of wine and some chocolates. It was perfect.
Throughout my stay, whenever I had a question or concern, my hosts were not only immediately responsive - but went far above and beyond to help me. To be honest, I was taken aback each time. I felt like a complainer at times, and yet they never made me feel that way in the least.
In business school, we learned about the art of exceeding the customer's expectations, and not just meeting it. These guys have that down to a science.
The gardens surrounding the house were lush and full of succulents and citrus fruit. The house itself is just a perfect little oasis with everything I needed - including a full kitchen - which is rare in many of the other studio sublets around LA.
And the location is really prime.
There was only one bad part of my entire stay to speak of - the day I had to leave.
I'm forever grateful to have found my "home away from home" in Los Angeles.
