|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Spacious, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa, private pool and BBQ. Full air conditioning. Beautifully finished, furnished and equipped to a high standard. There are open hillside views to the rear, the villa's pool is not directly overlooked and benefits from the sun most of the day. Situated on a small, select development in an idyllic setting, bordered by eucalyptus trees, within the backdrop of the Oroklini Hills and stunning countryside. This safe, quiet, cul-de-sac location, within a popular friendly village, is particularly suitable for children. Walking distance to traditional restaurants, supermarkets banks. etc. 5 minutes to safe sandy beaches, 10 minutes drive to Larnaca.
The large, comfortable, open plan living room has satellite TV, CD / Radio plus DVD player and two double aspect patio doors leading to the pool area . There is a fully equipped spacious kitchen / dining area with a large, extendable table. Although Cyprus has a low crime rate, we have provided a safe for any valuable items.
A feature marble staircase leads upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite shower / WC. Adjacent is a large veranda. The second twin bedroom has a front facing veranda. Patio doors lead directly onto the patio / pool area from a third twin bedroom on the ground floor. Here there is a foldaway bed available for an extra guest. We can also provide a cot. There is a family bathroom upstairs and a separate downstairs WC.
Villa Avrio is in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac and has plenty of space for 3 people. It was really clean, tidy and cool (air-con'd). The village has a lovely old town area a short walk to the north with a really nice Taverna. You will need a car (which we knew, and had) to get further afield (like the beach) Great customer service from the owners.
We spent a week in November at the villa and really enjoyed the facilities both in the villa and locally. We found the 24 hour bakery just a short walk away on our first morning and enjoyed a drink, a coffee or a mezze at various times during our stay. The bars, restaurants and supermarkets are all within easy reach. The villa is well equipped (although there is no wifi so perhaps another reason to completely relax!) and I appreciated the terraces off the upstairs where the early morning sun could be enjoyed. We had a little 1 year old with us so we had to watch him near the pool but we all had a wonderful time and would recommend the villa whole heartedly.
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Avrio. The accommodation has everything you would need or want during your holiday - a home from home. The owners provide an easy booking and payment process, with very good communication and clear instructions on how to locate the villa - we found it without any problems.
Well located, you can walk into the village in about 15 mins, where there are excellent eateries, bars and a fantastic bakery ( try the profiterole cake!).
Very relaxing just chilling on the patio or taking a dip in the pool or take a walk over the hills behind the property - you can walk for miles and the views are lovely.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Villa Avrio.
What a wonderful Villa in an idyllic quiet surrounding with wonderful views of the mountains. The pictures do not do it justice! We had everything we needed plus more!! The property management were lovely people and on hand when we needed them, and the communication prior to the holiday with Janet was swift, friendly, and full of information about car hire etc. I would definitely recommend this Villa to families, couples, over 55's, it really does cater for all!!! And VERY good value for money!!!
The village of Oroklini has many bars, tavernas, shops and all about a ten minute walk away...we recommend The Only Cafe Bar. Further afield we recommend, The Black Pearl, Ayia Napa, Camel Park, Mazetos, Splash O Colour (paint your own Pottery), Larnaca, Salamis, Famagusta, Quad Bike Safari, Pyla, Waterworld, Ayia Napa!!, I could go on, but there is so much to do for the whole family!!! You will not be disappointed!!
This Villa is a little beauty...the three of us were only in Cyprus for a few days but 'Villa Avrio' enabled us to enjoy every minute of our brief stay...beleive the pictures, it really is as nice, pleasant and welcoming as it appears...the fixtures, fittings and furniture are all of the highest quality...all the facilities you could require are all there, the master bedroom even has an en-suite shower..the villa has some cute little balconies ideal for lounging in the sun and of course a lovely secluded patio at the rear with a nice sized pool and even a barbecue...practical features include washing lines (pegs were provided !) and of course full equipment inside including an ironing board ! - you will want for nothing...
The location was ideal for us and our first foray into Oroklini to get some supplies etc was easlily accomplished as everything you would require is close - taverns, restaurants and mini-supermarkets are all locally available..
Would I recommend 'Villa Avrio' - yes I would - 100% ! - we hope to get back for a repeat stay sometime soon !
We had a wonderful time in this lovely villa - pictures don't do it enough justice we think - it's even nicer and more spacious in real life.
Perfect location as well - 10 min walk to the village, 15 min drive to Larnaca town, 20 min drive to Larnaca airport and yet you feel 'away from it all'. Nearby villages have everything you might need for your stay and most locals speak good English. Having a car is not necessary but highly recommended.
We would love to come back. Thank you Janet and Terry.
Larnaca, with its marina, palm-lined waterfront promenade, children's play areas, restaurants, bars and bustling nightlife is 10 minutes drive from Oroklini village The town has excellent shopping with a comprehensive range of shops from well known brand stores to craft and gift shops and a colourful market.
Oroklini village extends several kilometres from the sea inland towards the Oroklini Hills. A pretty village, it has locally all amenities: supermarkets, bakeries, banks, chemists, hairdressers and also its famous, traditional, award winning tavernas. Life here is easy going and the local people are ready to greet every visitor with their traditional hospitality.
The Oroklini coastline, with its golden, sandy beaches, is home to a number of four star hotels and a wide selection of international and traditional restaurants and internet cafes.. Here there is bowling and a variety of water sports, including scuba diving with one of the best shipwrecks just off Larnaca bay.
Other Activities: bowling, winter skiing in the Troodos mountains
