This apartment was well situated, well equipped, nicely decorated and comfortable. The property manager, even though her English was limited, took the time to show us everything and ensure we understood what she was saying. There is a lot of activity and energy in the old town .We very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it!!!!
We spent the last 3 nights in Nice from a 28 day European holiday
Upon arrival we were very unsure of this flat as first impression from outside was deceiving. The front door is actually two doors but only one opens when you unlock it. It is very narrow and with only 1 carry on bag each it was difficult to squeeze through with bags. The stairs are extremely steep which is also an issue when you have your luggage...upon entering flat tall people need to watch their head as doorways are low. The flat is AMAZING. There is plenty of room for two people. The kitchen has everything you require if you choose to cook your own meals. There is plenty of seating in the kitchen/dining area. The living room has a spacious couch for another sitting area. The whole flat was very well put together and was warm and inviting. We slept very well in the bed although my husband had to stay hunched over upon entry to bedroom to get to bed as the ceilings are very low. The location is fantastic for eating and partying if you choose. I was glad earplugs were left beside the bed as I required them but my husband was not bothered by the fun going on outside as he never heard anything.
Location, location, location
We have just returned after 4 nights in this charming and quirky property. Everything was as described and the location was superb right on the Place Rossetti. More bars and restaurants than anyone could possibly visit unless you were staying there for months. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. For anyone over 6ft the bedroom could be a challenge but after a few bumps to the head I learned how to avoid the large wooden beams. If you are visiting the old town in Nice then I cannot recommend this to you highly enough. We hope to visit again in the future.
Beautiful apartment, ideal location, excellent old town.
Very clean, very french, well appointed first floor apartment ideal for two.
The location is as good as it gets and the owner / agents are really helpful and friendly.
The communal staircase and entrance door could do with an upgrade, particularly the stair handrail, but the other tenants / owners were friendly.
We would definitely return.
The apartment was very comfortable and charming in a great location.
Wonderful Apartment-noisy location
This is a wonderful apartment located in the heart of the Old Town. Absolutely can’t beat the location with easy access to everything Nice has to offer. Well equipped, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Superb indeed. Only one concern - noise. Directly across the very narrow street is a so called Jazz Club which features live music, not Jazz, from 22H to 2H / 7 days a week. So terrible noise and chatter until at least 3H. If you want a restful vacation this may not be the spot for you but if a party type - motor on! Also might add that if you have any sort of disability e.g. balance, walking issues etc there are steep stairs through a narrow doorway to gain access to the apartment on the 1st floor. Otherwise can’t say enough about the owner and her local agent. They were responsive and very helpful. Rated four star because of the quality of the accommodation and location.
Our charming apartment is situated on the famous Rue Rossetti, about 25m from the historic Place Rossetti in the heart of the Old Town of Nice. Getting to the apartment is easy and, on booking, we will send you clear instructions including a local map. The old town is pedestrianized but the apartment is only 3-4 minutes walk from several drop-off points. The surrounding squares and narrow streets are filled with delightful boutique shops selling everything from local crafts to fine cheeses and wines. There are numerous great restaurants serving international cuisine as well as 'Specialties Nicoise'. As well as the many museums and art galleries within Nice itself, the old town is close to bus and train stations for day visits to Antibes, Cannes, Monaco and Grasse, the 'perfume capital of the world'. Ferries from Nice Port are a delightful way to visit the Mediterranean coast, St. Tropez, Monaco, San Remo and Corsica.
