3 bedroomed, 2 bathroom with decked garden and beach access which sleeps 5/6

Seaview is a charming unspoilt seaside village which is popular for family beach holidays, sailing and fishing and year round walking. This three bedroom holiday home is part of a well-maintained high quality development right on the seafront with direct access to Seaview's two main beaches and the Isle of Wight Coastal Footpath. Patio doors open from the living room to the stunning, south facing, decked garden which can be lit for evening dining under the palm trees. The property has just been redecorated and furnished to a high standard and is an ideal year round holiday home. The development is private and very quiet. Parking is a short distance from the property though you can park right outside the front door to load and unload. Seaview village has a variety of shops, a hotel with a great restaurant and a pub all just a short stroll along the beach or road, depending on the state of the tide. It takes less than 10 minutes to collect the fresh croissants for breakfast!

Seaview is a prime bucket and spade holiday village originally popular with the Victorians which still has an old world charm. There is only one small hotel, albeit with a famous restaurant. The roads are too narrow for coaches so it has remained an unspoilt gem frequented by generations of those in the know.

The living room has sliding doors to a south facing private decked sunny garden with steps to the seafront

path from which the beaches and slipway are reached. You can step in your swimsuit from the garden to the sea, about 20m at high tide! This garden is a fantastic suntrap and has a wonderful view of the Solent All three bedrooms have sea views and the master bedroom has a small balcony. The house is very light and airy, decorated in shades of blue and yellow, with the twin and single bedrooms sharing one bathroom and the master double bedded room having an ensuite bathroom and small balcony.

There is a good sized airing cupboard on the landing and a utility room off the ample kitchen which has a breakfast table. The living room has a dining table to seat eight and comfortable seating to relax in and is equipped with books, games and TV.

The Isle of Wight has nine golf courses, horse riding and many attractions for a great day out including the famous dinosaur centre at Blackgang Chine. In Ryde (4 miles) there are shops, supermarkets, bowling, a cinema and even an ice rink for the occasional rainy day, though the Isle of Wight is noted for its sunny weather. On a perfect sunny day nothing beats a morning on the beach, a walk to Baywatch Cafe for a fish lunch and a barbecue in the garden for supper. Seaview is a great base for walkers exploring the east of the island and, for bird-watchers, Bembridge Harbour is a noted site for viewing wading birds.

Although busiest in the summer holidays Seaview is a great year round destination and the house has plenty of hot water and combined night storage and convector heaters for winter warmth.

I grew up in Seaview and have spent all my summers in the village ever since. we own the house next door and in 2001 bought number 27 so as to have more space for our family and friends. When the family can fit in to just one house then we let number 27 and hope you will come and enjoy a holiday in our spare home

A great apartment in a fantastic location. Lots nearby for the kids and less than 2 minutes to the beach. The property is well maintained with everything you need. Will definitely be returning.

Superb holiday home in Seaview

This was our fifth visit to this delightful and modern holiday home in the blissful location of Seaview Bay.

The property has been thoroughly equipped with everything that is required for a successful family holiday .

Easy access to the charming village of Seaview, extensive,picturesque beach walks and a myriad of superb restaurants make this a prime and unique location for all ages.

Hard to beat the location of this property. Just yards from the beaches of Seaview which are famously idylic for kids and adults alike. The owner was extremely helpful with the booking formalities and the damage deposit was repaid in a super-speedy way.

Perfect location

We had a fabulous week with sunshine and blue skies virtually every day. The location was perfect for a beach holiday with our daughter and two small grandchildren as you can walk straight out of the garden on to the sandy beach. The holiday home is very comfortable and well equipped and the delightful village of Seaview is just a short walk away. We will recommend it to our friends and will definitely return.

Location, Location.

This is a delightful modern holiday home, in a perfect location within a few yards of the safe sandy beach at Seagrove Bay, Seaview. We found the property well maintained, clean and well presented in peaceful colours of yellow and blue, with excellent facilities including a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. It had good living space with a large kitchen with a good range of kitchen utensils and saucepans and a bright lounge. Our party found all the beds comfortable but laying in bed in the master bedroom and enjoying the view of the sea was just heaven.The property was also within a few minutes of village shops and restaurants serving quality food. Although the weather wasn't kind to us, there is always plenty to do on the IOW including exploring the many rock pools right on the doorstep or a walk through Seaview village via the sea road or beach, to Puckpool Park and on into Ryde is very pleasant. Seaview Wiidlife Park, was also a favourite especially feeding the penguins and wallabies.

I thoroughly recommend this property, it is in just the most perfect location.

Seaview is a well-known sailing centre with a number of public slipways and charming beaches to suit all tastes, Sandcove beach and Seagrove Bay are on the doorstep. Priory Bay, possibly the best beach on the IOW, is a 15 minutes walk from the house. There is good fishing from close to the shore and deep sea trips can be booked from nearby Bembridge.

There are an amazing number of attractions on the Isle of Wight for a place that measures only 23 miles by 13 miles. The Isle of Wight has over 60 places to visit with plenty of things to to do come rain or shine! There are fun parks with thrilling rides, animal and bird sanctuaries, carnivals and festivals to delight visitors of all ages.

Wherever you go on the Isle of Wight you will see evidence of a fascinating past, going back to the time of the dinosaurs. Roman villas, medieval castles, historic houses, Osborne House- Queen Victoria's home for many years and exhibitions which reflect life in a bygone age.

Golf: The Isle of Wight has 6 golf courses of which Ryde is the nearest one to Seaview. Freshwater is probably the most scenic and Sandown and Shanklin the most testing. Cowes is also very popular and all are happy to have visitors.
