After falling in love with all that Arizona had to offer, we relocated from NY in 2000. We chose Ahwatukee, a suburb of Phoenix, for our active lifestyle and the central location that allowed us to enjoy leisurely living, when we are not working. We could not beat proximity to hiking, biking, shopping, eating, you name it! From there, we traveled the state and found we loved Prescott as much or more as we loved Ahwatukee. Prescott offers a cooler climate during the summer months and access to moderate seasons that allow us to remain active.
We enjoy traveling and finding hidden gems and great eats. Though we travel all over the world, we find that there is no place like home and all of the natural wonders of Arizona! In fact, the house has many items from a few of our many exploring adventures, or you may notice my amateur attempts to oil paint some of the locations.
Jennifer purchased this house in 2015
We purchased this house for the views, location, and weather! There are endless views, ample space with 2.61 acres, proximity to shopping and dining, and a wonderful rural feel neighborhood with wonderful and active neighbors.
We are very invested owners and are always available to ensure the house is secure and well cared for.
The large patio will become your living space. You can watch hummingbirds at our feeders and the deer drink from our water trough.
Jennifer was aware that our trip was a difficult one as we were here to spend time with our father who is on hospice. She took time to add special touches to this beautiful home which we very much appreciated.
We enjoyed spending down time watching the wildlife all around us.
We will definitely be back.
Thank you, Jennifer, for all that you did to make our stay as comfortable as possible during this difficult time. It meant more than you will ever know.
This home provided us with excellent access to both Prescott (old town), Prescott Valley and the Granite Dells; the focus of our stay. The home is well furnished and easy to relax in after a hard day on the granite. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and eat in. I loved the simple fact that it had a exquisite nice tea pot which I used constantly! The home has great views as are advertised, but they were even better than we imagined. Often as we would return in the evening, there were wild animals in the driveway. I have lots of ropes and rescue equipment in my 83' Toyota Land Cruiser which I use all day and the property gave me the security I needed to secure it. The garage was not available however. It was close by to many fine shops and eating establishments. Easy to find as well. We gave simple directions to several and they found it no problem. The beds were very comfortable and firm which is a huge issue with me. The last rental not too far away had horribly soft mattresses which took a toll on my back in the morning.
When I contacted the owner, she was very courteous and prompt in her response. We tried to work out the only issue of my stay which was the lack of very hot water in the morning. I solved this issue by fooling the hot water heater (a long ways away on the other side of the home) into heating water prematurely before I took a shower. But, the main thing is that the owner was very responsive to our needs.
I would certainly hire this property again for my future needs in the area which are frequent.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Their house was extremely clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed cooking as the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Our evenings were spent with our family sitting on the wonderful deck enjoying the beautiful sunsets and watching the deer. I would highly recommend this property.
The property was clean and maintained. Jennifer provided great customer service. I would recommend this property to my friends!
Very nice place with an awesome view. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Way better deal than staying in a hotel. I would would rent this place again. The rooms were spacious and the back deck is great for morning coffee and watching the wildlife.
The home was perfect for our needs. It has a large deck where we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The A/C wasn't working upon our arrival but the owners responded and had it up and running the next day.
Trader Joes is close by which made it nice for our grocery needs. Town is close yet you feel far away. The home is very quite which we loved.
We would rent it again.
5 miles to Whiskey Row and Historic Downtown Prescott. 5 minute drive to shopping, but still have mountain views and living.
