Left on Apr 15, 2015 for a stay in Apr 2015
Just returned from an amazing week at the Dalyan jewel at Easter 2015. Family of 12 including children and grandchildren. Plenty of room plus much to spare. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Equipped with everything you need and more. The garden was beautiful, well maintained with an excellent bbq and lovely outdoor seating area. Pool was beautiful but cold (it was April). Oruk (the company that maintain and run the villa) very helpful giving sound advice on which trips would be suitable ! Short walking distance into town and no need for a car. Very memorable and would love to come back.

We have had a lovely time at the Villa . Dalyan is a great resort. The people are very friendly and it is just a pity the tourism is down this year because of the various political issues. We felt perfectly safe at all times.
The Villa is beautiful and perfect for our needs. We had a couple of small issues in the first day or two which were very swiftly dealt with by your Agents. Mehmet was very helpful. The Pool is great and regular visits from the pool man kept it in pristine condition.
The villa is very comfortable and had all the amenities that we expected, and more. A great place for a family (and in our case two families) holiday.
This has to be the BEST family holiday that we have had. We took our 2 daughters, son in-laws and 5 grandchildren aged between 9 & 20,11 of us. We were picked up at the airport by Oruc, it was a 20 - 30 minute drive to the Villa. It was dark when we arrived and the villa and pool looked amazing with the lights on, so much so as we walked up the path after getting our cases out of the mini bus there was a line of cloths and the children (even the 16 & 20 year old)had stripped down to their pant and jumped into the pool The villa was fantastic, lot's of room inside, it was really well equipped and outside has a fantastic large garden, the pool gave us hours of fun, we loved it. The garden is lovely and very well kept, it has a storks nest on top of a pole, it was brilliant watching it come and go. There is a Kosk at the back of the villa and when we managed to get the children out of the pool they loved to go round there to read, they called it their quiet reading area. There is a very large eating area outside with a BBQ next to it and a really good butcher about 5 minutes away. Town is a 15 minute walk with lot's of really good restaurants and the people are lovely. There were bikes at the villa which were great for a morning cycle ride or to nip to the shop or town. Everyone agreed that they would definitely go back again next year, in fact since coming home my husband and myself have decided to go back with friends next month (can't wait).
We had a long weekend at the Dalyan Jewel. The facilities were great, totally as described, the weather was great, totally as described... Dalyan is a lovely, sleepy little place, perfect to relax in but close enough to all the local historical and touristic sites if you fancy it. Highly recommended.
We took our children and grandchildren for an easter break. The villa was spacious, clean, well equipped and in a great location. It was better than we expected and we had great service from the company who recommended which trips were good value. Local supermarkets sold well priced fresh food and there is a good bakery near by.
Thankyou for making our holiday perfect. The Villa was better than we could imagine, everything we needed then more. 5 minutes walk to the town where we found great restaurants. Our favourites being Kordon, Ramazan Hans and Sahil. We loved the Kingfisher for photographs. Thanks again and we'll see you next year.
Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your absolutely fabulous villa. Everything about the villa was fantastic from the luxurious interior to the garden, pool bar area and position. We all loved the lovely touches in the villa that made so much difference.
We'll be back next year.
Dalyan: The tiny town of Dalyan in the province of Mugla on the South-Western Mediterranean is set in the centre of a broad delta whose natural beauty is completely unspoilt. This is one of the surviving corners of paradise, an area of outstanding natural beauty and historic interest.
The Dalyan Channel, through which water circulates between the Mediterranean and Köycegiz Lake slowly meanders, forming a network of small lakes and waterways through reed beds rising to between 3 and 5 metres in height. (The journey through this natural labyrinth is romantic and mysterious) With its mixture of fresh and salt water, these wetlands have become home to vast numbers of fish and other water life, as well as the birds of many species which feed on them. Dividing the sea from the delta is the Iztuzu sandbar stretching for 5km east from the mouth of the channel.
Other Activities: Jeep Safari, white water rafting, gulet cruise and boat trips
Golf: There is an 18 hole golf course 30 mins away In Sarigerme right on the coast and opening end of 2008
The skiing is available from Dec to April at Seki which is a one hour drive from Dalyan _ skis can be hired from the centre but it is only suitable for beginners and early intermediates - however if you want to sunbathe and ski on the same day as I did in Christmas it is possible.
