3 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom (sleeps 5) That Is Centrally Located And Freshly Updated

Once you park your car you will not need It until you are ready to go home! Your reservation of this unit comes with two off street parking spaces in our parking area.

This Is a quaint, beachy, quiet, older top floor unit of a Triplex. Only a block to the ocean with a life-guarded beach, and one block to the pier and 'downtown' Folly Beach. Walk to all of the bars, restaurants and beach with ease! From time to time you can enjoy the acoustical music being played at Chico Feo down the street from the outside sitting area.

Our home was the "hotel" on Folly from the 1940's called the Marion Guest Quarters. The sign remains out front, but has received a "face lift" from one of our former tenants and now dons Blackbeard's Flag!! The history and charm of the home were two of the big selling points for us In purchasing the home. :) We have converted the Home Into three rental units.

This unit Is the UPSTAIRS UNIT OF A TRIPLEX. Guests need to be considerate of guests below. As the sound does travel in the property from time to time, we do include white noise machines in each bedroom in case you are a light sleeper. If you are looking for a private home rental, this may not be a good rental fit. If you are looking for a "party" rental, THIS PROPERTY WILL NOT BE A GOOD FIT. We require a copy of drivers licenses to be uploaded at time of booking as well as a description of your car color, make, model & license plate. Parking on Folly can be very limited at times and we need to ensure that our parking area is being used by our guests and not other Folly visitors.

The property boasts 3 bedrooms and 1 bath with about 1,600 sq. feet. A/C, cable, flat screen TV, wireless internet, hotel style linens, bath towels, beach chairs, and a full bright "eat-in" kitchen. Ceiling fans In the front bedrooms and living room. A beautiful "sleeping porch" as you enter the property. Features a hammock and bistro table to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. The light floods this upstairs unit through the ample windows (many of the originals with antique Charleston glass) In virtually every room.

There Is an outdoor grill area, a small fenced backyard area and an outdoor shower for after the beach.

We are so centrally located, you won't need a car to get around Folly! Center Street, Bert’s Market, The Fishing Pier, And Beach are 1-2 short blocks’ away. Come Relax.


Pets are NOT allowed.

We are the Draper family. 2 adults and three children and a DAWG (that's right a big white English bulldog, names Lulu)! We are from Atlanta and Charlotte, but we found each other and Folly Beach! We love Folly Beach!

Why Eric and Marei Draper chose Folly Beach

We bought this property years ago as an investment, with the long term hopes of living there one day. The old beach charm, character, and fantastic location we couldn't pass it up. We lived upstairs for the last couple of years and enjoy all the Folly has to offer. We do not currently live here full time, but it is our escape any chance we get and it will be a full time home again one day!

Folly Beach is so unique, laid back, and beautiful...and still only minutes away from historic downtown Charleston, SC.

Once you park you car you can walk to all of Folly Beach's offerings.

What makes this apartment unique

The sign out-front says it all! Teach Edward Teach! He is the pirate, Blackbeard (Edward Teach), and the inspiration for the name of the property: Pirate's Perch. He adorns the sign out front and greets all passersby with a sign that mimics the flag that caused fear in many a sailor.

We stayed here for my daughters graduation from college. The house was very comfortable and welcoming. The beach was a stone throw away as were the shops and restaurants, Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Property!

We enjoyed our time at this well-appointed, charming home. It seemed like much more than a beach place. Great updated facilities, fresh thick towels, beach chairs and toys, just two blocks from the beach. Owners were gracious and cared about our stay. We would love to return.

Location is perfect!

Perfect girls trip to Folly for the Bridge Run thanks to the Pirate’s Perch. Location is perfect to beach and Center Street shops and restaurants. The house has all accommodations you could need and very clean! It has one small bathroom but that wasn’t a problem for us. Front porch and hammock was a plus!

Delightful spot

Spacious and charming three bedroom with large glassed in porch. Furnishings very comfortable and kitchen thoughtfully equipped for a very pleasant stay. Location could not be better, private yet only steps away from market, main street, beach and pier. We'll be back!

This place was actually a last minute find. My reservation at the Tides was cancelled due to hurricane Irma. I was able to book this space quickly, thanks to the prompt response from the owners. The parking was super easy and the location was absolutely perfect! After napping in the hammock daily, I was able to just walk to the beach or center street... also just around the corner from Berts! This place was very spacious and very clean! Just perfect! Communicating with the owners was an awesome and personal touch. I will be staying here in years to come and recommending it to everyone! Thanks so much for a beautiful vacation!
