I would be happy to help you plan your getaway if you need, I've lived here 25 years and know the area well. Whether your in town for business, attending a wedding or visiting your child at UNH. this surely beats a stay in a hotel. Thanks for looking.
I've lives in the seacoast for over 30 years.
I have plenty of knowledge and recommendations about the area.
I love living here and sharing all the side places to see, go and where to find those yummy meals.
Andra purchased this house in 1985
Because it's fantastic, unusual, comfortable and so much fun!
I'm available for any of your questions and special requests if you need I usually can make it happen.
We spent three days at the lovely waterfront suite. It was a beautiful place to stay. The king bed was very comfortable and the view was awesome. It was very welcoming and a great place to come back to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The stay was absolutely wonderful. As beautiful as the pictures and Andra made it extra special with welcome goodies and was a great help with any of our needs. Perfect location, close to everything. Would highly recommend it.
I agree with others who have reviewed this wonderful getaway. Comfy bed, beautiful and spacious bathroom, fabulous outdoor sitting area that overlooks the waterway. We enjoyed watching the tidal activity including lobster boats, blue herons and seagulls. Andra was kind enough to let us keep our 12 foot dinghy on her dock. It added to the fun and adventure as we explored Great Bay. These are just a few of the fabulous things about this cozy place. This is by far one of the best places we have enjoyed. Highly recommended!
Everything about this "homeaway" was perfect! The private location is on a beautiful river with plenty of (water view) outdoor spots to relax, including the wonderful tree house. Separate entrance and separate outdoor spaces make this attached apartment seem exclusive. The interior is inviting, has central AC, and Andra has exquisite taste. She has thought of everything. The (upstairs) bedroom is very spacious with a to-die-for bathroom with huge 2 person shower. The king bed is very comfortable. Fridge was stocked with yogurt, water, seltzer and half and half. Coffee maker and coffee were provided, as well as a basket with snacks and zucchini loaf. I can't think of a single thing I would have changed, except the ability to stay longer! We visited Kittery, Durham and Portsmouth over our weekend. All were an easy drive. Thanks for a wonderful weekend getaway Andra!
We really enjoyed our stay. Andra was very nice in providing us with goodies on our arrival. Although we stayed 13 days it became very toubling without a stove in order to prepare some meals. We had lived in Portsmouth for 47 years before moving to Florida so it was nice to return and visit the area. We had two children in the area and four grandchildren so when they came to visit the parking of cars was very difficult. The location is very convienent to visit the Portsmouth area. The dock and tree house are very nice and made it great to sit out there in the early morning or late evening. The upstairs bedroom and the bathroom are very nice and a great view of the Bay. This is a great location and would recommend anyone to stay for short visits.
Fantastic location on the waterfront. Quite possibly the most satisfying cup of coffee I have ever had under the tree house watching the tide ebb and flow in the early morning as the sun came up. Everything as advertised with a prompt refund of the deposit before I even arrived home! The owner (Andra-pronounced like Sandra minus th "S") was friendly and informative (if you wanted her to be yet invisible if you want privacy). If I had to find something negative to say it would be that the morning coffee lasts until lunchtime when you have to venture out. Thank you so much!
Very historic area. Plenty of places to discover, outlet shopping and lots of recreational areas. Close to UNH, many beaches and one our to Boston and Portland Maine.
