Completely private fully furnished basement portion of the house has 2 bedrooms, large living room, kitchenette, 1 bath, gym and movie theater. The modern, newly finished basement space has 1400 sqft, 9' ceiling, full ac/heat, bright and modern. 2 queen beds, 1 full mattress futon, and 1 twin mattress bed. Kitchenette has fridge, electric induction cooking stove, microwave, venting to the outside. Private entrance.

House is situated in quite culdesac of modern suburban development. 1.25 acre lot, lots of open picturesque space, free parking, forest park and biking trail in the back.

About 30 minutes to Philadelphia, 2 hours to new York city or 3 hours to Washington DC.

Our house is situated in a 1.5 acre lot on a private cul-de-sac, next to 2 beautiful prestigious golf courses. Our location also has easy access to a network of major roads and highways including the Pennsylvania turnpike. Its within few minutes of many major ultra modern shopping malls and eateries.

We are providing a completely private fully furnished basement portion of our house which includes a living room, gym, movie theatre, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. The newly finished basement space is 1400 sqft, fully air conditioned/heated, cork flooring, bright, modern and airy.

Nice place and friendly owners

The place was more than big enough for five persons. Great to have a tabletennis table and fitness equipment.

The refrigerator was filled with first neccessities and cereals for breakfast were available. Great if you just come from the airport and have to get used to the American way.

Very nice neighbourhood. We enjoyed the stay.

Hospitality 5 stars, Apartment 3 stars

Three adults in town for mini-vacation & family research. Good location not far from where our aunt lived on Limekiln Pike. Easy to find house, quiet neighborhood, blacktop path very convenient behind house to local park.

Access to basement "rustic". Not easy with elderly people or large pieces of luggage. (Almost felt like going into a bomb shelter).

Apartment modestly furnished, but comfortable and clean. Plastic kitchen table not great for group larger than 3. Also wobbly! Accidently bumped into & spilled mug of coffee sitting on it. Beds comfortable, and even got used to orange bedroom.

Bathroom adequate & thankful for stairs now to get up to shower. Slight problem for women especially, if someone is using bathroom, that's where the only mirror is. I asked Sam for extra mirror to borrow, but would be nicer if another mirror is added outside of bathroom.

Kitchen use OK, but missed some items that would've been helpful for breakfast: no toaster, no blender, no measuring cups. And bring your own corkscrew, none there either. We used the good mugs & bowls & washed up after meals. Since we were doing dishes anyway, would've been nice to have good plates too. Very thankful to Sam for furnishing snacks, fruit, milk, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. We're good breakfast eaters, so nice to have pan to fry eggs!

Thankful to Sam & Becky & boys for sharing their deck one evening to watch fireworks. Very hospitable & welcoming family willing to help anyway they can.

Good location, relaxing time.

My son and I stayed at this property while visiting colleges. It is located near many of colleges in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey so it was ideal for our purposes. The property is also located about 10 minutes from the regional rail line which takes you into Philadelphia in about 40 minutes. The pictures on the website are accurate. There are two separate bedrooms, one small bathroom with a shower, a sitting area and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hot plate. The owners also provided coffee, tea, milk,water, juice, fruit, granola bars, cereal and oatmeal which was a welcome and generous addition.

The booking process was easy and the owner responded promptly to my emailed questions. He also checked in during our stay to make sure everything was fine.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I would recommend it for individuals or families traveling for leisure. You will need a vehicle, however, as the property is located in a residential area and driving to grocery store or restaurants is necessary.

Just a couple of things to be aware of: 1. There is a private entrance to the basement apartment which involves some very steep concrete steps to go down. There is no railing to hold onto and the lighting is pretty poor (we used our flashlight app at night to see). If you have trouble going down steps or have a lot of heavy luggage, this could prove a challenge. 2. The shower is pretty small and requires you to step up at least a foot to get into and out of. Again there is no rail to help you. If you have difficulty with these distances, this could be a challenge. The property could benefit from small step stool to help you get in and out. 3. There was some noise from the family upstairs in the morning and in the evening. It didn't bother us but you will definately hear their footsteps. 4. I did not see any smoke detectors in the entire area.

All in all we were very satisified with our stay and would recommend it to others.
