About the property

3 Bedroom plus a large loft. Sleeps 12 comfortably. 2 Bathrooms

Located on the fringe of the Newberry National Volcanic Monument sits the Paulina Pines Lodge. Built with entertaining large groups in mind, bring the entire family and create memories to last a lifetime!

Minutes away from the jewel of Central Oregon, the Newberry Calderra, you can explore nature at its finest. Fish Paulina and East lake, hike Paulina peak, view the biggest obsidian flow in the United States or just sit back and relax in the many hot springs that line the waters edge on both Paulina and East lakes. Recreation is unlimited in this beautiful area.

After a big day of adventure return to the Paulina Pines Lodge and BBQ on the 1000+ square foot deck while looking out into a peaceful forest. End the evening enjoying stories and s'mores around the fire pit or soaking in the hot tub.

The lodge sleeps 12 comfortably including 3 private sleeping areas and a large loft that includes 3 beds and plenty of room for additional sleeping bags.

Having the kitchen and dining room separate from the great room allows people to have space to play cards and games at the dining room table while the rest of the crew relaxes on a couch in the great room visiting, enjoying a good book or playing darts.

You might feel like you're remote but don't worry, there is a flat screen with satellite so you wont have to miss the big game!

Plenty of space to park your boats, snowmobiles, quads etc... This is cabin living at its finest with plenty of room for everyone and for the price you won't find a better deal!

Perfect for our family gathering!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this cabin! There were toys for the little ones and games for the big ones. Hot tub was pleasant and the cabin was equipped with all the essentials. Wish we were able to stay a few more days to do more exploring in the area but maybe next time. Thank you Ian and April for sharing what you have created with others!

We loved the log cabin

  • 5 of 5

Our kids and grandkids loved doing many things in the cabin. The upstairs loft has three beds and lots of toys and books. Our grandkids loved playing with the toy kitchen. Also a wooden push toy was a hit with the two year old. the grown boys loved the little basketball hoop in the living room. We also enjoyed playing badmitten out back and going in the hot tub The beds were all good. And we enjoyed a little campfire to make some mores one night. It's a quick drive up to Paulina Lake for fishing and also not too far to sun river or the high dessert museum. Sun river had a bouncey house bumper cars and a little train to enjoy for the kids. The deck is large and has many chairs and tables. The house was well stocked with all products except paper towels and we brought our own soap shampoo and hair blow dryer....and food and coffee. They have two fans and we brought 4 more little ones in case they were needed. Especially upstairs when it was hot they were nice. Would love to stay at this cabin in the winter. One thing to know: 2 bedrooms are down stairs with doors and third is a loft room upstairs off the dining room and is open and has a low ceiling and no windows, we didn't need this room but could've used it if needed for adults or teens as it has a ladder to get to it. The other was also a loft but large and gas windows and a stairway going up to it. Over all a great place to stay for all ages even great gramma came and liked it.

Fun place to get away from the city

  • 5 of 5

Our group of friends had a great weekend. Spent 90% of our time on the back deck and had a great time grilling, playing games, and enjoying the campfire.

The nearby hiking was beautiful. The homeowner had lots of suggestions, none of which disappointed. Would love to come back!

Wonderful Vacation

It is a beautiful home, close to LaPine and close to Bend and Sun River. We visited all the attractions that were close by and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come here again.
