Amazing 10,000 sq. ft. mountain modern home. Fabulous sweeping mountain views of Zion National Park's Kolob peaks.

You will love the massive gourmet kitchen with state of the art appliances, two gas stove tops, two large ovens, two sinks, two trash compactors, huge granite food prep areas, refrigerator/freezer combo, walk in pantry, stainless cabinetry.

There are beds for 12 people, plus a portable infant playpen. This home has 7 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, home theater with 80" screen and Direct TV, DVR, DVD/CD, stereo surround sound system, large laundry room, living room, dining room, gas fireplace, walk out lower level living room, exercise bike and treadmill, wet coffee bar w/ mini-refrigerator, and high speed wireless internet.

Home is located on 18.5 acre wooded parcel with plenty of privacy. Only ten minutes drive to Zion National Park (Kolob entrance). Only 40 minute drive to Brian Head Ski Resort. You can hike the World famous Kanarraville Falls Trail, which is only 2 miles away!

Your Southern Utah escape from the ordinary awaits. It’s within short driving distance of five national parks: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef, Canyonlands, and Arches. Other things to do and see nearby include: Skiing or mountain biking at Brian Head Ski Resort, fishing/boating at several nearby lakes, hiking, exploring the Mammoth Caves, or visiting Cedar Breaks National Monument. You won’t want to miss out on all the great activities and sights to see nearby!

Need supplies? No worries, a 12 minute drive gets you to Cedar City with several supermarkets, restaurants, and other shopping opportunities. A forty minute drive gets you to St. George which has even more shopping, including Costco and The Painted Pony, which is one of the best restaurants in all of Utah.

Perfect Setting, Spacious Home

There were twelve of us in all, couples and friends and children, and we all had a terrific time staying in Marty's mountain home for the week. The views were spectacular, access to memorable hikes was quick and convenient, and the return to the home for family-style dinners and fun was the best way to end the day. The rooms were huge, the kitchen was fantastic and worked well for joint efforts in cooking and cleaning up after, and the outdoor patio was a perfect place to sit in the shade enjoying a drink to wind down.

The best recommendation is that everyone involved felt this was one of their best vacations ever, even though this group was comprised of well-traveled folks young and old. We would love to come back to repeat the experience!

This vacation home was a wonderful destination.

This house was fantastic for our large group of 8 (and could have fit many more). The house is large and in impeccable shape but still felt cozy and inviting. The owners obviously care about renters' comfort and experience (they are knowledgeable about the area and answered all of our questions including tips on things to do). The open layout with vaulted ceilings and huge fully equipped cooks kitchen is spectacular! The house boasts a million dollar view of the Zion mountains from the back of the house. We even had a full moon on the 3rd night :) High speed internet was great and the TV/media room with theater seating was a great (comfortable) place to retire after a long day of hiking (with more available movie channels than you could watch in a month). The main living room is huge and right off of it is a large elevated covered porch - where we spent a lot of time also. The cooks' kitchen with back to back 6 burner stoves, two sinks, tons of counter space including a ledge around the entire counter with 10 chairs where everyone hung out while we cooked. A large family dining table off the kitchen was perfect for our large group. There were a lot of bedrooms on the first floor, and more on the lower level which we didn't even use. Beds were super comfortable with great bedding, etc. A huge garage for all of our cars, an outdoor dining table and fire pit were nice surprises when we arrived.

We loved the location of this house. It was private but not remote. It was an easy 45 min scenic drive to the main entrance of Zion National Park which we enjoyed on a number of occasions. The bonus was we were 5 min from the Kolob entrance which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the park, boasting some of the most spectacular views and hikes (incl a long scenic drive through the canyons with many cool observation points). We enjoyed our hike along the river in Kolob to the Arch! The house is also 12 minutes from Cedar City which has plenty of places to stock up on groceries, etc. We would highly recommend this house!

An incredible house in an amazing location!

The location of this house was absolutely amazing. The property was very clean and very well-maintained. It felt like we were on our own private estate for four days. Very close to all of the great hiking and beauty of Zion national Park. The owner was extraordinarily responsive to all of our needs.

I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family.

We absolutely love the privacy as well as the ability to be only 15 minutes away from restaurants and shopping.

It is my pleasure to highly recommend this wonderful property and hosts to friends, family and any readers of this review.
