|Minimum Stay||5 nights|
Originally constructed in 1929, this 1,100 square cabin was remodeled in 2005 with knotty pine interior and an open floor plan with lots of windows while maintaining its original character. An air conditioner and 5 ceiling fans will keep you comfortably cool.
Queen bed in master, bunk beds in second bedroom, and full-size sofa sleeper in living room nicely accommodates 5 to 6. The cabin has a 3/4 bath. The kitchen has a gas oven, microwave, with all the pots, plans, plates, glasses and utensils you need. We provide bedding and towels.
The cabin has 2 decks: a large deck off the cabin overlooking the lake with a charcoal grill, dining table, and comfy chairs; the lower deck sits on top of the boathouse overlooking the lake. A rustic yard swing has cushions for sitting or napping.
The 48’ dock with a bench and ladder has plenty of room for tying up your boat. A public boat landing is less than 1 mile away.
Catch your dinner from the dock. Lake Koronis is known for its walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing.
Take advantage of the 13-mile walking/biking trail that circles the lake. It’s just outside your front door!
We hope you love outdoor fires. You have two options: The stone outdoor fireplace original to the cabin (1929) is a great option for outdoor cooking. And, when you feel like having a fire right by the water, you can take advantage of the fire pit on the shoreline.
Feel free to use our 2 kayaks for fun on the water.
What a lovely cabin! We truly enjoyed our stay - our kids immediately jumped into the water off the dock and we were hardly able to pull them out the entire time we were there. We loved the bench on the dock, it was great for fishing and taking in the sights of jumping fish in the water and pelicans flying above. The kayaks were a blast as well. The kids mastered them quickly and loved paddling around the lake. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room, extremely clean, comfortable beds, well-organized and welcoming. The views from the deck were amazing - starting the day off with a cup of coffee, looking out at the lake was my favorite part of the trip. Ending the nights with a bonfire next to the lake was particularly fun for the kids as well.
The owners were very thoughtful, leaving us a welcome card along with some BIG sparklers for our kids to use as we had mentioned our son would be celebrating a birthday while we were there. They were extremely kind and made us feel right at home.
I would highly recommend this property and we can't wait to go back!
