Situated between rue d’Hauteville and rue du Faubourg Poissonnière. Near to the Grand Boulevards, to the Opéra, and to Montmartre, this 310 m2 private residence rises on six levels and walls in a living room, a dining room including an open kitchen, seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, two terraces and an interior elevator. Finished in 2003, the building was set up in a loft style with white walls and concrete floors and ceilings, on one side south exposed on a very calm street side, and opposite, north exposed and overlooking a private courtyard. Provided with a videophone, the main door opens to a small hall and to a second door equipped with a security code, which opens to the facing elevator. To the right side is the laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer, in addition to a washstand. The following door opens to the first 14m2 bedroom, furnished with a 140cm wide double bed, a wall cupboard, a window and a French window looking out and giving access to the courtyard. This bedroom has its own shower room including a toilet. To the left, colored Plexiglas plates frame a first flight of waxed concrete steps climbing to the first floor. Here, the first 20m2 bedroom is fitted out with a 160cm wide double bed, a closet, also featuring a private shower-room with a washbasin. A large window giving on to the street lights the space. The following door serves the second bedroom with a 140cm wide double bed, a closet, and also a bathroom. A French window opens on to an 8m2 terrace on the courtyard side. The second level is almost identical to the first; the bedroom on the street side is very luminous, thanks to the south exposed 4m x 2m50m picture window, and the pleasant bedroom on the courtyard side has no terrace. Both bedrooms are provided with private shower rooms. On the third floor, the first door opens to the 23m2 master’s suite showing a 160cm wide double bed, a desk, and 4m x 2m50 wall-to-wall closets. A sliding door gives access to the bathroom enclosing a bathtub, a washbasin, and a 2m x 1m shower cabin. Adjacent to the master’s bedroom a large window giving on the courtyard enlightens the 10m2 child’s bedroom, which includes a 0,90cm wide single bed. On the fourth floor is the 60 m2 dining area featuring 3m ceiling height, a design oval dining table for ten guests, and an open kitchen equipped with four gas burners, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, a sizable worktop, a dresser, china and all utensils tidy in the many cupboards. This area is bathed of light thanks to the south exposed 4m x 2m50 wall-to-wall window and an extra north exposed large window. At last, on the fifth floor, the 35m2 living room has 4m50 high mansard roofed ceiling, fitted out with settees and armchairs. It lays out a decorative fireplace flanked of two large bookcases and gives access to an exotic wood’ 18m2 terrace which offers a pleasant view over Paris roofs. Every floor has double glazing windows, and, except the last one, a separate toilet beside the elevator. Moreover, there are three cordless’ telephones, three TVs (two are portable and the other one can be moved as well). There is cable in one of the bedrooms, two VCRs and DVD players, and a stereo. A computer with ADSL and WI-FI Internet connection is available. The closest metro stations are Poissonnière (line 7) and Bonne Nouvelle (lines 8 and 9)

Erwartungen übertroffen!

Wir haben in diesem Haus ganz wunderschöne Ferien erlebt! Alles war bestens, unsere Erwartungen wurden in jeder Beziehung übertroffen. Wir waren 12 Personen, davon 5 Kinder von 2 bis 12 Jahren. Die Platzverhältnisse in den Schlafzimmern waren ausgesprochen grosszügig; alle 12 Personen fanden bestens Platz am grossen Esstisch in der sehr gut eingerichteten Wohnküche. Zum Lesen bot sich das geräumige Wohnzimmer im obersten Stock an, den Apéro nahmen wir dort oder auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick über die Dächer von Paris ein.

Meist haben wir selbst gekocht. Dazu standen genügend Kochtöpfe, Pfannen, Küchenmaschinen, Geschirrspüler, Herd und Backofen zur Verfügung. Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser waren mehr als ausreichend dotiert.

Das Haus liegt, obwohl mitten in der Stadt, sehr ruhig. Eine Metrostation und Buslinien sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso die wichtigsten Geschäfte - von der Bäckerei bis zur Weinhandlung. Ein kleiner Park mit Kinderspielplatz ist auch ganz nahe.

Die Beschreibung der Wohnung im Internet war in keinem Punkt übertrieben. Alles war auch äusserst sauber und gepflegt.

Wir waren wirklich rundum sehr zufrieden!
