This cozy cabin is located in the Chalk Creek Canyon town of Alpine. Known locally as “The Foreman’s Cabin” it was built in 1881 during the height of the Mining Era in Colorado.
The historic charm of this cabin tucked in an Aspen grove, combined with modern conveniences provide a very special Rocky Mountain experience.
The main cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed that sleeps two. Additional sleeping options include; a fold out sofa and a murphy bed (both queen size) in the Livingroom.
The second bedroom is an unattached “Bunkhouse” with a full size bed and single trundle, located directly behind the main cabin.
The cabin has been updated with a full kitchen, ¾ bath, living and dining area, mud room washer dryer, with a wood burning fireplace and central heat. Air conditioning provided by Nature itself!

Local Artisans work can be seen throughout the cabin, in wood, sculpture, mural, quilts and paintings.
