This newly remodeled 1,900 sq. ft. open concept home must be seen to be appreciated. It is appointed with high quality upscale granite, travertine style tile floors and all new furniture and appliances. Most of the living is outdoors in the screen enclosed pool and patio area.
The master BR suite has carpeted floor, queen bed, his & hers walk-in closets and bathroom with direct exit to pool & patio. Guest BR #1 has a queen bed, large closet and large sliding doors that open directly to the pool & patio. Guest BR #2 offers twin beds and a large closet. Both guest BRs are adjacent to the guest bathroom that has direct access to the pool & patio.
The open floor plan kitchen, granite bar, living room, dining room and family room area provide a warm inviting environment for gatherings & social activities. Kitchen appliances are new stainless steel Samsung & GE. The induction (not conduction) range offers more exact & faster cooking than most gas ranges. The oak kitchen cabinets and drawers are soft closing. There is a sliding window pass-through to the patio for convenient outside serving and easy clean-up.
An extra room has the washer & dryer, and an single bed, perfect for a child or single adult. Along with a fold-out sofa bed in the family room, the house could comfortably accommodate up to 9 people (although we suggest 6 people as optimal).
The pool and patio area is where most of your at-home living is likely to be done. The pool is heated so that it will be at your desired temperature at all times. A propane Weber grill will support your every grilling desire.
We bought this house and remodeled it with plans to live in it for the rest of our lives, so everything was painstakingly selected the way we wanted it. When our plans changed, we bought second house on the same street to live in, because we love the street, location & neighborhood so much. Our hope is that you will love it as much as we do. This is our only rental property so we want it to be perfect for our guests.
We are a socially & physically active local couple running, walking, kayaking, cycling, volunteer work, arts & entertainment, and, of course, beach time. We love the Sarasota area, and, in particular this area.

Location, location, location - as the saying goes. While being on a quiet dead end street with virtually no traffic, this property is convenient to just about everything, especially the beach. Your biggest dilemma is likely to be whether to stay in to enjoy the house & pool or to go out and explore the wonderful beach, restaurants and activities that are very nearby.
My family and relatives (6 adults) had a fantastic time in this beautifully appointed home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood which suited us really well. We felt at home right away. It is very clean and well equipped with all the necessities. The two master bedrooms was a pleasant surprise. The internet speed was great even with all 6 of us connected simultaneously.
The pool is an added bonus as we were able to soak and relax in it after a long day of walking.
Beaches and restaurants were within easy reach with a car.
A great vacation home made all the more memorable with the prompt assistance from Jack and Pam and a very friendly and accommodating owner.
It was perfect for our family. We had our 3 children (ages 13-21) with us along with our parents who are in their 70's. The fact that the two masters are on separate sides of the house was perfect!! Kitchen was nice sized with all that we needed. The laptop was a nice surprise and helpful. Wireless worked great. No issues with multiple people using it. Also liked having a garage. After going to the beach, we were thrilled to NOT have to deal with that traffic. Being on the other side of the bridge was a plus considering that. The walk is a little scary going over the bridge and the fast traffic but not a huge issue for us. Plenty of beach chairs to use was really nice. Glad we didn't have to bring ours. Jack was prompt with any questions and there when we arrived even though it was later than we thought it would be. Pool was perfect and well heated!!! Plenty of places to lay out AND stay in the shade!!! Lots of privacy and didn't have to deal with noise. Would definitely come back.
We and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home, from the welcoming basket of Florida goodies to the very thoughtful amenities provided. There was nothing we needed that was not available. The home has wifi, tv, basic necessities like tissue and paper towels to unbreakable dishes to use poolside. All in all, it is a great vacation home that is in a location that offers easy access to beaches and highways.
My husband, my 14 month old, and I stayed here with my sister, her husband, their 3 year old, and their 8 month old. The house is divided into two "wings", with one large master suite with two walk in closets on one side of the house, and two bedrooms and the laundry room on the other side of the house, so each of us had one part of the house and felt like we had enough space. Both walk in closets in the master were big enough to fit a crib/pack and play and had slats in the doors so they were ventilated. The pool has a cover and a fence, which makes it look closed and well gated off, which meant that the toddlers could run around (still with constant supervision) on the deck. We ate outside every night and it was so lovely to have the screened in porch and the pass through window, it made dinner a breeze. The owners are very detail oriented and provided a lot of instructions and helpful local information. The kitchen was well supplied and the bathrooms were all well stocked with tons of towels and soap. It was relatively easy to babyproof, with minimal tchotchkes and no steps. There were plenty of beach chairs and the beach was less than a mile away. The area of the beach that is walking distance is also much less crowded than the beach park, because there is limited parking. We also discovered a great park with a playground about a mile and a half away (Philipi Estate Park), and were (long) walking distance to the nearby Publix and other shops. The neighborhood was quiet. We had a small plumbing issue while we stayed that was not resolved as quickly as we would have liked, due to a miscommunication, but overall we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was comfortable and clean, with a gorgeous pool, amazing kitchen, and on a very quiet, beautiful street. Siesta Key Beach was a mere walk away, as were kayak rentals, bike rentals, and many restaurants. We were even able to see dolphins in the bay on a morning jog down the beach!! The hosts are accessible and give great advice on things to do in the area - from mini golf to kayaking. Loved it. Would definitely rent again.
We were fortunate to rent this house both in late February and again in March. My husband and I loved it so much we went back in March with our son and our married daughter and son in law. This is the perfect house for a family vacation.
I am a runner/walker so loved my early morning runs to the beach and on to Siesta Key village where the rest of my family met me for breakfast. Husband and daughter are foodies and wine connoisseurs so proximity to good restaurants was a must. Sarasota did not disappoint. Relaxing by the pool and reading in the beautiful lanai made for a very relaxing trip. House is tastefully decorated, clean and well appointed. Newly remodeled high end kitchen and master bath made me want to go home and start renovating. Owners very accommodating. We let them know that the wine opener had broken, but planned to get another ourselves, but 2 hours later a new wine opener, new wine glasses and a new toaster were at the front door! We are planning a third trip this summer, dates to be determined, but hoping we can get this house again.
World famous Siesta Key Beach with its white cool "powder sugar" sand is a short walk, as is parasailing, boat rentals, kayaking, etc. There are also about 8 restaurants withing walking distance. And, as centrally located as this home is, it is on a very quiet dead end street with virtually no traffic.
