Great Cottage in a Lovely Location!
Very pleased with the bungalow, although we never met our hosts, every thing we required was present and we had no problems. The road in front of the property was busy at times, and unfortunately this somewhat cuts off exploring the beautiful Loch side. Great Natural Trust Gardens on your door step!
Great location, had a lovely time
Good sized accommodation with lovely views and in a great location.
Perfect for two couples although it might be a bit of a squeeze for 3 couples. Great location and easy drive up to Inveraray for restaurants etc.
What a lovely cottage to stay at. Great spot to stay. Loch to the front and forest to the rear. Pity the road in was in bad state. Exceptionally equipped. Very clean and tidy.
We stayed at this lovely cottage May 6-9. The home was beautifully maintained and very comfortable; the views were outstanding. It was a perfect area for exploring Inveraray, Oban and many small, pretty towns. Argyll is a great place to explore.
We also love the views from the cottage and agree that it is in the perfect location for exploring Argyll and the islands.
Huis met alle comfort en prachtig uitzicht
Mooi huis met vriendelijke eigenaars. Centraal gelegen voor allerlei uitstappen. Heel mooi uitzicht.
Argyll, in the West Highlands, is one of the most spectacular parts of Scotland with beautiful scenery, mountains, lochs and wildlife. It is an area steeped in history and offers a variety of activities. It is a wonderful area for hillwalking, bird watching, fishing and touring.
Oban, the 'Gateway to the Isles', is less than an hour's drive away and has sailings to the islands of Mull, Iona, Colonsay, Kerrera and other Hebridean islands. It is a busy fishing port with an 18 hole golf course, a cinema, an indoor pool, tennis and squash courts, a good choice of shops and restaurants and a lovely sandy beach at Ganavan Bay.
Travel north to Fort William, at the foot of Ben Nevis, and visit the magnificent mountains of Glencoe, renowned as a climbing and winter sports centre. Visit Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park
