One level ranch style home includes a nice, full kitchen with an eat-in area open to the dining room and living room with great wood burning fireplace. Attached to living room is a bright, window-filled sunroom/tv room with amazing sunset views and private backyard. Overlooking the backyard is a great place to watch deer and wild turkeys . Off the sunroom is a large deck with gas grill and patio furniture. Call owner 612-963-1777 or email for more info. John
This house is in Eden Prairie about 20 minutes from the MSP airport in an area with large lots and big trees yet has great access to major highways (minutes from 494, 62, 394, 212) .It has three bedrooms (not including sunroom which has French doors and can act as a fourth bedroom) and two full baths (one tub). It's all on one level with just two steps into the house for easy access tucked away into a private neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. Owner keeps a lower level apt with a separate back door entrance and uses it when he is not at his North shore Properties. It is not rented to others
Great privacy, big trees, wildlife, no steps, very central location...
This property is one of the nicest we have rented. I stayed here with my daughter (15), wife, and parents (80+). There are three bedrooms, and one has a shower stall that is suitable for older people. There are no stairs in the living space, and it is easily accessible from outside. It is a large space and has a fully stocked kitchen with an island, and dining table in the kitchen. There is a large dining room/living room space, and yet another room with two couches, chair, TV, and another large table--this room has windows on three sides that look out over a small forested area in the middle of the subdivision. Suburban wildlife such as white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and squirrels were present in early December. The WiFi works fine, although you need to look on the back of the typed instruction sheet to find the actual password (no space, BTW). First priority for the 15 year old, right? This is a very quiet location, and I live in Montana so I know quiet.
This is probably the least formal VRBO we have rented. There were personal photos and memorabilia throughout the house, and the fully stocked garage (i.e. looks like my garage) was open to allow access to the trash and recycling. Basically, it feels like you are house-sitting at a friend's house who knows you and trusts you. John, the owner, called me the first full day we were there to let me know he was working in the downstairs apartment, in case we saw someone coming and going. He is a friendly person and asked if we needed anything.
We recommend this property, and we would stay here again if we are in the Minneapolis area.
We stayed for 2 nights over MEA break. Enjoyed the location, close drive to most things we were doing entertainment wise. Favorite part was the sunroom, my daughter did her college homework at the table while we relaxed and watched tv. Found the kitchen to be under stocked. Needed a large bowl but only could find a flimsy plastic one with a crack in it. Only had a 1 cup measuring cup for measuring ingredients. Never found a dish towel for drying dishes, used a bathroom hand towel. We struggled to get the Wiifii to work and finally gave up. Did find it weird upon leaving that they wanted us to tip the cleaning people. Overall a great weekend!
This was our second time to stay in this home. It is so nice to come "home" after a day of visiting or vacationing in the area. There is plenty of space to spread out with the sun room and deck. We were even able to invite some friends over to celebrate a birthday. We grilled out and had plenty of room for a fun gathering.
We loved staying at this home! Very quiet neighborhood; great for relaxing. Or, if you want to go out and have an exciting time, it is not far from fun attractions. We had a 14 month old on the trip with us. The house was great for naptimes/ early bedtimes. The adults could be out in the sunroom and not have to be quiet while baby is sleeping. We found a nice beach/park just minutes from the house. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to use this home again if we return to the area. Thank you!
We just stayed four days and three nights and we really enjoyed it. There were 8 of us together for a shopping trip. Everyone had a place to sleep and with two bathrooms for 8 ladies, it worked out fine. We always gathered in the living room each night to talk and drink wine and we had plenty of space. We saw deer one morning as we had breakfast. Beautiful woods behind the house made it feel like a real vacation. The owner was in the basement working but we never heard him. He was very helpful when we needed more supplies and he even helped us with a car issue. I highly recommend this place. It wasn't that far off the main roads and there were nice restaurants and shopping pretty close. The price was also really good. We like to do big houses instead of hotel rooms because we can all be together. Thanks!
Located in the nice, lively MSP suburb of Eden Prairie (EP). This city was ranked among Top 25 'Best Places to Live' in nation and among the 5 other Minnesota cities was number 1.
