This stunning property, named after our beloved St. Bernard to whom we had to say goodbye on May 4, 2016, is located on 8-acres on a private lot in the esteemed West Ridge private community. Upon entrance on to the property you will park your vehicles under the carport to the right of the garage. Walk through the gardens where you will see your guest house on the right. Upon entering your personal private code (which will be provided prior to arrival) on the front door, you will step into the living room and your vacation begins. The upstairs bedroom is spacious with a california king bed and its own bathroom. It also has a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee while admiring the vineyard view. The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with amazing views and a patio furnished with a table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with your basic cooking needs including an assortment of coffees and teas. Outside on the patio off of the kitchen is a gas barbecue which is yours to use during your stay. Do not forget your bathing suits so you can enjoy the large infinity pool and Jacuzzi (FOR SAFETY REASONS, THE SLIDE AND WATERFALL ARE NOT INCLUDED). Located on the front lawn is a gazebo which is another great place to relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the vineyard view. While outside you might get lucky and see a family of deer, rabbits or even roadrunners. And if you do decide to leave the property there are an abundance of top-rated wineries in the area most of which have tasting rooms open daily. Also, Downtown Paso Robles is home to many tasting rooms, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping. Throughout your entire stay the pool area and jacuzzi are exclusively available for your use until 11pm (The slide is not included), you will not have to share with anyone else.

About Hari Rajah
My name is Hari Rajah and I have lived in San Luis Obispo County since 1984. I moved here from a small island in the Indian Ocean called Sri Lanka to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Since moving here I have become a successful entrepreneur and have been living in Paso Robles for more than 10 years. I live here on the property with my 12-year old son. Due to our work and family we are quite busy, so you will not see too much of us, if at all, during your stay.
Hari Rajah purchased this House in 2005
Why Hari Rajah chose Paso Robles
The first time I visited this property in 2005 I was taken aback by the rolling hills and stunning views. Even today, I still feel ike I am living in my own piece of paradise. I feel blessed and priviledged to live here with my family and we look forward to sharing it with others.
What makes this House unique
The most unique feature is the location of the home, it is surrounded by the peace of nature yet only a few miles away from Downtown Paso.

Beautiful but not very private
This is a stand alone guest house which is very nice inside and the views from the bedrooms of the rolling hills and grape vines are amazing. The backyard pool is beautiful (although not heated) and the hot tub is very nice. The grassy area was perfect for our dog. There is an abundance of wildlife - rabbits on the lawn every day and birds everywhere. The owner, Hari, was very nice and brought us extra balls for our dog. The property is very close to downtown.
This guest house is just steps away from the owner's main house. There is a separate entrance but the patio and pool area is in the backyard of the main house. While the blinds in the main house were drawn the entire time, there isn't complete privacy. The refrigerator was very loud. Lastly, we found a dead rat in the infinity pool lower "mote area" of the pool but this is the countryside so that's understandable.
In sum, staying here is like staying in a wealthy friend's guest house and paying for the privilege. :) I think it is a bit pricey for what it is but we enjoyed our stay.
Great house with fantastic pool/gardens for accessing wine country
Really enjoyed our few days at Hari's guest house. It is on a hill with spectacular views over the countryside. The house is perfect with two bedrooms and a murphy bed in the living room. Everything provided, and what wasn't there Hari was extremely responsive right away with any request. You will enjoy the property, the views, the pool the hot tub, the BBQ, the fire, and of course Paso Robles and the wineries.
Perfect location. Very comfortable.
The home is well maintained and very comfortable. The balconies and back patio have wonderful expansive vineyard views. Hot tub and pool are clean and beautiful. The owner's house is adjacent, but our access was private amd quiet. Going east, the house is 5 minutes from Paso and less than 10 from most of the best restaurants. Going west takes you directly to our favorite Paso wineries (Tablas Creek, Halter Ranch and many more). Wonderful stay, thanks Hari!
Amazing guest house, wonderful hosts, fantastic weekend get away
The guest house was clean, organized and exactly as it was described online. The extra amenities (grill, patio, pool, hot tub) were all fantastic and really added to our experience. A good place to stay if you are traveling with pets as it was very pet friendly. The only thing I would note is that the property was really expensive, if we weren't needing to stay close to a specific wedding venue I would have stayed at a hotel downtown that was much more affordable and had similar amenities. We thought we were renting the entire property...didn't realize it was just the guest house until we got there, could be our fault for not reading the description properly. Overall though it was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking to escape to Paso.
Beautiful location perfect for weekend getaway
I spent the weekend here with my sister and a few of her friends for a bachelorette weekend. We had such a great time! The house is very clean with plenty of room. The outdoor area with pool and jacuzzi were amazing, not to mention the views. Everything was so wonderful that we barely left the house. When we did, the downtown area was only a $10 Uber ride away. I would love to come here and would highly recommend it.
thank you Helen.
The guest house was the perfect spot for our family get away: Gorgeous views of the vineyards on rolling hills, the beautiful pool and grounds, and the home is clean, neat and comfortable. Hari was an exceptional host! We arrived to find staples like milk and bread awaiting us. The ultimate- Hari went out and bought a brand new high chair and pack and play when he learned we were coming with our baby! Thank you Hari for a great week! We are sure to be back!
