Historical and modern come together in this 2nd floor, 700 square foot condo in the heart of Olde Marco. It sleeps four, with one king bed and one sleeper sofa, and it has one bathroom. Step into the sunlit interior and you’re surrounded by the tranquil feel of the seaside décor. A ceramic table base adorned with swimming dolphins sits atop a carpet filled with images of shells and anchors. The square window mirror above the sofa reflects an image of the wind-blown palms outside your balcony. A painting of the turquoise ocean serves as a constant reminder of the miles of pristine beach waiting for you on Paradise Coast.
Rear southern exposure means all-day sun fills the space with natural light. The furnishings are every bit as comfortable as the surroundings, with cozy sofas that face the palm-lined vista outside the balcony. The seaside décor extends into the bedroom, with its colorful fabrics, rattan headboard and palm tree prints on the wall. The summer kitchen comes complete with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to prepare anything from breakfast on the glass dining room table to evening cocktails to bring out to the balcony, where you’ll sit back on the soft recliners, beneath overhanging palm fronds, looking out at the boats docked on the canal.
For your comfort, the unit comes with air conditioning and ceiling fans. For you convenience, it comes with a washer and drier. And for your entertainment, it includes cable with a big screen TV, a internet connection and everything you need for the pool and beach, like beach chairs, an umbrella and cooler. You’ll spend many relaxing hours down at the spacious patio, with its heated pool and gas grills for poolside barbeques.
All these tropical amenities are set in the midst of historic Olde Marco. Stroll through the brick courtyards of Royal Palm Drive, where small tin-roofed shops bring the island’s colorful history to life. Stop for a meal at award-winning restaurants like Bistro Solei and Old Marco Pub, or waterside dining and live entertainment at Marco Island landmark, Snook Inn. You’ll also find clothing boutiques and quaint shops filled with handcrafted goods and island style décor, along with salons, a gift shop and more.
So come enjoy a modern tropical vacation in the historical setting of Olde Marco.
