We loved staying in this house. It was cozy and artistic and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the best things about this home was it’s location! It is central to almost everything we wanted to do.

Spacious and cozy place, perfect for a family
We had a great stay. The house is spacious with a kitchen that's well equipped, good beds and a giant bath. The host left a nice welcome package. The only downside is the highway next door, which makes the porch less enjoyable (but gets you to the airport in 10 min!).
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and for being such wonderful house guests. WE are glad you enjoyed your stay, and YES, the location is great for those traveling to ATX by plane :)
Hope to have you back,

Authentic Artist Bungalow
A wonderfully comfortable, compatible, and relaxing experience, definitively supportive of the SOCO vibe. The property was exactly as described, close to everything, full of whimsy and charm. The efficiency of VRBO was seamless from beginning to end with everything we needed at hand to navigate.

Enjoyed the Artist's Bungalow in Austin 3/22 - 3/24/19
My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the Artist's Bungalow. It is a real gallery of the artist's work. and a very pleasant place to stay for a short time in Austin. It is very convenient to downtown, and some wonderful places to eat. We drink wine with our meals, so we ubered to and from our evening meals, and enjoyed them that much more without having to figure out how to get to the various restaurants.
The place was very easy to get to, and in and out was a breeze, having the expressway right behind the place was great. We had really easy was to get to the places we went for brunches Saturday and Sunday and easy routes to get to the race track.
My son takes baths and really enjoyed the luxury of the master bath tub. I was huge and his 6' 2" fit just fine. I much prefer showers, so we were both satisfied.
I was glad the weekend we were in Austin was relatively cool so that the 74 degree limit on the A/C unit was not uncomfortable. That was the only thing that kept me from giving the visit a 5 star rating. I would suggest that you have the Freon level checked in the a/c unit and bring it to a full charge before the summer or I suspect that the bungalow might get very warm at night. All the trees around the yard should help a great deal.
All in all a very enjoyable weekend.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, and for being such great house guests! We are glad you and your son enjoyed the Bungalow! We will certainly work on improving the communication specific to the AC/Heater, as 74 is the target-temperature during the winter months. During the summer / warmer months, the request is that temperature not be dropped below 67 degrees, in order to avoid freezing the unit. Thank you for mentioning this - we will definitely update messaging to provide more clarification.
Hope to have you back soon,
-Amy with iTrip
Truly an eclectic home!
This is truly an eclectic home. I loved the bohemian feel and enjoyed all of the different art placed around the house. (My favorite is hanging between the washer and dryer.) I’m really going to miss spending the evenings on the front deck. It was really peaceful sitting under the fairy lights enjoying the cool breeze.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you back soon.

Vacation in Austin and plan a memorable trip in one of the top destinations in Texas! This lively urban center attracts millions of people a year who enjoy an eclectic mix of culture paired with local charm.
Although best known for live music, Austin offers guests plenty of outdoor activities, historical sites, arts and culture, sports and nightlife. No matter what type of vacation you plan, the city welcomes you to try it all.
Venture from your Austin vacation rental and head into the great outdoors. The city's location borders the Hill Country region, which includes several lakes suited for water recreation. Among the top things to do, visitors love boating, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming year-round in Barton Springs Pool and cruising. Off the water, families can plan special tours, go hiking and biking, rock climbing, play golf, visit local wineries and take a relaxing horseback ride. The fun doesn't stop there. The city has grown into a popular place to live and visit, all while honoring its culture and heritage. Signature events include SXSW, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Urban Music Festival, Republic of Texas Biker Rally and the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar. If you enjoy Grand Prix racing, you’re in luck because Austin is home to Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The city also has districts that honor and celebrate African American, Latino and Asian customs and traditions.
This thriving city may be packed full of activities and attractions, but no Austin vacation will feel complete without experiencing its live music and nightlife. In fact, Austin is known to many as the “Live Music Capital of the World,” due to its 200-plus music venues and thousands of shows a year. Visitors who want late-night options can explore dozens of bars, comedy clubs, theaters and nightclubs.
