About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2

This beachfront, fourth floor condo, with rear westerly exposure, is 500 square feet. The square footage of the beach right outside your balcony is endless. When we say “right outside your balcony,” we don’t mean a short walk. We mean the only thing between your balcony and the turquoise ocean is the soft white sand. The condo sleeps two, with one queen bed, and has one bathroom.

The spacious interior and elegant furnishing make the ideal complement to the beach outside. The afternoon sun throws palm-tree shaped shadows over the tiled floor. Ceiling-to-floor windows give you a panorama of ocean and sky.

Air conditioning and overhead fans keep you in perfect comfort as you entertain yourself with the cable TV, internet or by watching the shore birds peck for lunch in the sand outside your window.

Don’t forget, this condo has rear westerly exposure, which is real estate terminology that means, get ready for the most amazing sunset you’ve ever seen. The fully appointed kitchen has everything you need to cook up a plate of hors d’oeuvres and blend a couple tropical drinks to accompany the sunset.

The condo comes with all the amenities you could want. Take a refreshing dip in the shared heated pool. Play some tennis or shuffleboard. Work out in the fully equipped fitness center. After your workout, reward your tired muscles by luxuriating in the hot tub.

For the best in beachfront dining, stop by Apollo’s very own Sunset Grille for Caribbean-style cuisine, tropical beverages and entertainment provided by the dolphins playing in the Gulf.

Marco Island is the largest of Florida’s ten thousand islands, and it’s filled with ten thousand activities. Parasailing. Fishing. Shelling cruises. Jet ski and swamp buggy tours of the Everglades. And so much more. If total relaxation is more your style, lay back on beaches of sugar white sand and cool off with a dip in the sparkling blue ocean.

In keeping with the themes of blue skies and wide open spaces, wander through the Marco Walk Plaza, a premier open-air plaza filled with small boutiques and fine restaurants like Marco Island Fish Co, Davinci’s Ristorante Italiano and Marco Prime Steaks & Seafood.

So plan your getaway to this one-of-a-kind beachfront condo, where the ocean outside your balcony goes on forever. And so will the memories of your trip.

Reviewer Comments:

The location is very nice with a really wonderful view. Accommodations were fine but with some problems. The entrance to the boardwalk is not far from the balcony so you would hear the "clang!" of the door closing every time someone went through it, which was often. One of the two elevators in the building was broken and supposedly wouldn't be fixed for months. Very inconvenient, long elevator waits since there was a lot of resident/renter traffic. There was a puddle of water that developed right inside the bedroom. We would clean it up and then it would reappear. Never did figure out where it was coming from. Also, the bedroom is right on the walkway so noisy people coming in late or being drunk/loud was not fun. For these issues, I think it was too expensive.

Reviewer Comments:

The view and location were amazing, and I guess that's what you pay for. Everything else was just okay. Some things were clearly in need of repair (the towel bar coming out of the wall, the beat up old lights, the dreadful bathroom fan that sounds like a dying boat but doesn't accomplish anything.) Some things were very oddly designed (no overhead light in the bedroom.) The towels were like thin, tiny, pieces of paper but management promptly replaced them. The team was very responsive. The extra pillows smelled vaguely of mildew. The bedroom is extremely cramped - there's no need for a footboard so close to the dresser. I still have bruises from constantly walking into it in the middle of the night. So, obviously it's not the penthouse suite. We spent most of our time on the beach anyway. It could really be much better with a few improvements though.

Reviewer Comments:

Very nice accommodations adequate space for 2 people, was surprised unit wasn't really clean just picked, had to clean unit before we could feel comfortable using it. Lanai screen need repair couldn't, wanted to turn off air and leave lanai screen opened to hear waves & enjoy sounds on beach, blinds need repair. Called MIV Properties, re: lanai issues handle used to open lanai door wall came undone MIV Properties came over immediately & repaired it, they directed other lanai issues to mgmt. Surprised toilet was very low (RV size), people w/long legs have hard time sitting on toilet seat. Stove was also (RV size & outdated) also needed cleaning, oven cooking pans let in over, had to clean them before use, cupboards had to be clean out, silver ware and utensil cabinets had to be clean out from crumbs & dirt in drawers from others prior use. Bath/shower/tub hard to clean, stopper didn't fit well in tub to hold water. Only 1 elevator working, tons of people, wait for elevator was some times 15 to 30 min wait. Picture on VRBO & mirrors made unit appear larger. Pictures of large planters, flowers & color items is actually the lobby not in the unit itself. Items supplied were only the basics, can opener didn't work, clear plastic container with bright yellow top was cracked & broken (couldn't hold water). Microwave was dirty. We broke a coffee cup on arrival opening cupboard, reported to MIV Properties. Customer service in Apollo & MIV Properties was outstanding. We know the Island, very well, lived on Marco 11 yrs had a great time. Went backwaters charter boat fishing/Sunshine Tours (Rose Marina) w/Captain Rick great fishing he knows the spots. We went to Susie's for breakfast & Snook Inn on Marco River for Grouper & music. Did some shore fishing everyday @ Caxames Park, pick up rod, reel & bait fish from Rose Marina on (Bald Eagle. Lovely...just would have liked a cleaner unit, screen to lanai & both elevators working. If you love the beach this is the place to be.

Reviewer Comments:

Overall very disappointing. Expected a condo and basically got a hotel room with a balcony (the balcony was the only good thing about it). The condition was acceptable, except for the ants, loose towel rack and toilet seat, no drapes on the bedroom window (let in too much light and someone could look in). The beach was nice, although very rough compared to the Atlantic side where we usually stay. The water was nice and much calmer than the Atlantic side. The cost was high as compared to the two bedroom, two bath, full kitchen and living room, with internet access, "real condo" on the ocean we rent on the Atlantic side. Found the people on the beach somewhat unfriendly. When we checked in we found out we had to pickup the keys at the Property Mgmt office, which we were not informed of. When I picked them up, I got an attitude from the rep. She said I should have reviewed the "app". Well, we didn't get an "app" until we got home (left before it came). Also, it isn't our responsibilty to hunt for these details, we should have been informed up front. Compared to our stay on the Atlantic side, this experience was a hasstle and disappointing from start to finish. Enough said, don't expect us to return in the future. David & Mary........
