This beachfront, fourth floor condo, with rear westerly exposure, is 500 square feet. The square footage of the beach right outside your balcony is endless. When we say “right outside your balcony,” we don’t mean a short walk. We mean the only thing between your balcony and the turquoise ocean is the soft white sand. The condo sleeps two, with one queen bed, and has one bathroom.

The spacious interior and elegant furnishing make the ideal complement to the beach outside. The afternoon sun throws palm-tree shaped shadows over the tiled floor. Ceiling-to-floor windows give you a panorama of ocean and sky.

Air conditioning and overhead fans keep you in perfect comfort as you entertain yourself with the cable TV, internet or by watching the shore birds peck for lunch in the sand outside your window.

Don’t forget, this condo has rear westerly exposure, which is real estate terminology that means, get ready for the most amazing sunset you’ve ever seen. The fully appointed kitchen has everything you need to cook up a plate of hors d’oeuvres and blend a couple tropical drinks to accompany the sunset.

My wife and I are very familiar with Marco Island and we come back always (usually we do it in September). It was special becauase we are celebrating 50 years since we met. The Island was beautiful as usual. We missed the little birds and gulls this time. In September they are more numerous than in May. But we loved the stay.

This is the second time to Marco Island in this same building. The location is great.. right on the water. It is very clean and safe. The unit from last year 405 was better equipped I felt. This unit 402 could use an updated kitchen and more counter space. The living room furniture was new and very comfortable. The sliding glass screen did not slide so we could not use the screen. The storage for clothes was adequate. They could use to get updated beach chairs and umbrella as the one we had last year was nicer... it even had the cart that turned to a table which was really nice. We love the location because if you want to go anywhere you can get of the island easily unlike Ft Myers Beach which can take you forever. The laundry facilities are great and the machines even take credit cards!!It is great to have the restaurant in the building too!

Nice but with a few bobbles

The location is very nice with a really wonderful view. Accommodations were fine but with some problems. The entrance to the boardwalk is not far from the balcony so you would hear the "clang!" of the door closing every time someone went through it, which was often. One of the two elevators in the building was broken and supposedly wouldn't be fixed for months. Very inconvenient, long elevator waits since there was a lot of resident/renter traffic. There was a puddle of water that developed right inside the bedroom. We would clean it up and then it would reappear. Never did figure out where it was coming from. Also, the bedroom is right on the walkway so noisy people coming in late or being drunk/loud was not fun. For these issues, I think it was too expensive.

The view and location were amazing, and I guess that's what you pay for. Everything else was just okay. Some things were clearly in need of repair (the towel bar coming out of the wall, the beat up old lights, the dreadful bathroom fan that sounds like a dying boat but doesn't accomplish anything.) Some things were very oddly designed (no overhead light in the bedroom.) The towels were like thin, tiny, pieces of paper but management promptly replaced them. The team was very responsive. The extra pillows smelled vaguely of mildew. The bedroom is extremely cramped - there's no need for a footboard so close to the dresser. I still have bruises from constantly walking into it in the middle of the night. So, obviously it's not the penthouse suite. We spent most of our time on the beach anyway. It could really be much better with a few improvements though.
