Interaction with guests
This studio unit is inside of a triplex. My wife and I live in the main floor unit and rent out the two units upstairs, one of those being the studio. We love having guests come and go. The backyard is a beautiful communal space for everyone at the triplex. Enjoy yourselves but please be mindful of the community.
Minneapolis is home to the greatest festivals and fairs in the nation. The Best 12 Days of Summer with the Aquatennial. Our 400,000+ strong Twin Cities Pride Parade. The Great Northern festival with three amazing celebrations of winter with the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships, Loppet Ski Festival, and the Winter Carnival next door. Our festival season never gets time off. Ever.
Minneapolis is just under 150 years old, but there are thousands of years of history and art between the banks of the Mississippi and the lakes on the western edge of the city. You'll find those in our numerous museums, ranging from the "most explosive museum in the world," (Mill City Museum) carved out of the ruins of what was once the world's largest flour mill to some of the top ranked art museums in the U.S. and the world, designed by the likes of Herzog & de Meuron, Frank Gehry and Michael Graves.
Artist studios and galleries and live performance spaces housed in old warehouses and factories have defined Northeast Minneapolis. The area’s 400-some artists open their galleries and show off their stuff at a variety of fairs and art crawls, including the legendary Art-A-Whirl, which occurs annually on the third weekend in May.
