We are end of the road, 20 acres, surrounded by state and public lands. 7 mountain ranges is what we view from our property everyday. Abundant, deer and elk, QUIET!
We felt like we were kids again!
Traveling with two dogs and wanting a fun place to lay our heads for the night, this was perfect. The only thing we were bummed out about is that we couldn't stay longer. This was such an awesome experience for us - the quiet open area, the clean air and the insane stars! The owners were so accommodating, flexible and cool. They were the icing on the cake!
Can't wait until we are passing through again~
Great accommodations. Great location. Quiet beyond belief. Could move in and just enjoy the quiet pretty easily.
Used it as a base of operations for a weekend of tourist activities. Lewis and Clark Caverns, Virginia and Nevada Cities, even managed a quick run through Yellowstone.
Bed and cots with sleeping bags worked out perfect for the four of us.
Fire pit, water and a simple outhouse round out the accommodations. Not quite glamping but close and fun.
Would recommend a higher clearance vehicle as the road is a little "rustic". We managed with our car but it was a little dicy.
Plan on bringing your own camp stove and cooking gear if you want more than fire cooked hotdogs and smores. There isn't a shower. Not a deal breaker just be prepared and don't plan on attending a black tie event.
Be sure to check out Ringing Rocks, Pipestone ATVing, and Lake Delmoe
