3 bedroom 1 new bathroom walk & bike everywhere, hiking trails, shops, eateries

Perfect location, wonderful neighborhood, close to everything. 3 bedrooms - 1 King, 1 Queen, sleeper sofa and 2 lounger chairs which convert into twin beds. 1 newly remodeled bathroom, private and landscaped back yard for a barbecue. All new kitchen utensils, pots & pans, dishes etc. Summer highlights include walking distance to Bonner Park (summer concert series every Wednesday), located directly on full & 1/2 Marathon Route, walk or bike or catch the free trolley to Saturday Farmers Markets, events at Caras Park, the Wilma Theater and all bars & restaurants on the hip strip and downtown. Just blocks away from the University of Montana Campus, the UM Golf Course and all the Mt Sentinel trailheads.

Worked well for us 4 adults. Good location for all activities.

House was fine. Kitchen was perfect for our needs. We used the grill out back and were able to eat out there as well. Back yard is nice as it is away from road. I could read and sit in sun.

As others have mentioned - the windows are a bit of a mixed bag. Some you can open and others not. Front bedroom where my husband and I slept did not have capacity to open any Windows. There is window AC so we ran the fan. In fall when it's not too hot would be nice to be able to open window. All in all super place and we enjoyed our stay. Nice and clean- good bathroom and hot water, etc.

If adult is staying in lower room it would be nice to be able to lock from outside. Just a thought.

Great stay in the University District

Overall a great experience. Jeff is very responsive and nice. The home is very nice and the backyard is perfect for the young kids to play and for evening BBQ's. Location is great, very nice neighborhood and only 2 blocks from Bonner park! The side room with 2 beds was a big plus - very cool space.

Charming Cottage in a great neighborhood

This is a charming cottage in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from Bonner Park. We were very comfortable here, and we would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. The furnishings were comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Easy walk to several good spots on Higgins, including Tagliare deli, and the DQ offers special dog treats on Mondays nights.

Be aware, the house has no central air conditioning, and Missoula days get hot in July. Nights are delightfully cool, but most windows do not open, so it's hard to air the place out. The owners did put a window unit in the master bedroom for us - still it would have been great if we could have opened the windows, especially the kitchen windows. My guess is that most of the year this would not be a big problem in the Missoula climate.

Great Location especially to University of Montana

This house worked well for our needs and stay. We hope we have reason to stay there again. Conveniently located to both U of M and downtown. Not hard to get to retail on Brooks either. Extremely quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking on street. Backyard while not big would work well to have a nice bbq and there is a nice grill. Comfortable, but remember it is an older house so the quarters are cozy even with 3 bedrooms and wood floors creak , but that's part of the charm to us. It has 5 beds including the pull out sofa in living room but 1 bed is king, and at least one of the others is queen. Third bedroom with 2 beds is accessible only from its own outside door but that was fine with us and I think would be fun for younger kids cause there is window from that bedroom into a bedroom into main house. There were plenty of dishes, etc. No dishwasher, but that was fine with us. Washer and dryer right there. Was chilly while we were there and heat worked great. Living room had cable tv and master bedroom also had cable tv and Wifi provided also. All in all we all enjoyed our stay and Jeff our contact person was always very responsive to our questions. thanks.
