This house was cozy, quiet, and very comfortable. Super location in East Nashville, and really easy to get downtown. We had so much fun! And Kimberly was extremely helpful and responsive.

Very cute house

  • 3 of 5

The house was very cute and the perfect size for our group of 4 people. Immediately when we arrived we had an overwhelming odor of moist musty smells. Thinking it has nothing to do with the house we walked in and it got worse. I had lived in a house with a wet basement before so I immediately turned the air conditioning on and thought that it would get better, which that smell did, but not the smell in the living room. It smelled like a dog urinated all over some where in that room. We could not sit in that room at all during our stay except for watching TV and even then not long. The first night we were there a mouse came up from the basement and scared the crap out of us...so we plugged the door with a towel so he wouldn't come back. Everything was in working order and the beds were comfortable. One thing that did concern us however is that we call Domino's at about 11 at night to deliver and they said "they don't deliver in that area after dark for a safety concern for thier drivers". Which means.....when discussing it with them further it wasn't so much the area where we were but a couple blocks down. So that was a little concerning. The outside porch was a plus and we utilized it often. Overall if the smell wasn't a problem we really enjoyed our stay.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. Out of 45 reviews none of these issues have been raised so I appreciate your bringing them to my attention. The basement is dry but it's unfinished so perhaps with the rains prior to your visit there was some dampness. With the cooler temperatures I imagine little critters seek warmth. The property is serviced quarterly for pests but I will certainly have them address the mouse. The house is pet friendly so there will likely be pet odors. However, I will have the rug professionally cleaned. I'm sorry you found the odor offensive. I have pets so perhaps my nose isn't as sensitive. Dominoe's assessment of the area is incorrect. The house is in the heart of a historic, residential neighborhood within a couple of blocks of reputable and popular restaurants, retail, art shops, library, churches, etc. It is a very quiet and safe area. Of course, crime can occur anywhere so we have motion-sensitive floodlights. The screened porch is my favorite spot. Glad you enjoyed it, too.

Great location.

House was fantastic. The back porch is a nice spot to hangout. Close to five points and a short Lyft ride to downtown. It would be nice if the windows could open. They appear to be painted shut.

Great house - Wonderful location

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean, decorated nicely, and updated throughout. Having the tray of pamphlets of things to do around the area was nice. We got ideas from here on things we could do! Having the privacy fence out back was great. Nice neighborhood to take a walk around. Within walking distance to 5 Points...awesome little area. Only about a 5 minute drive to downtown which was nice. You have a nice quiet place to come back to after experiencing the busy downtown atmosphere. Kimberly was great to work with and really wanted to be sure that we enjoyed our stay. And we definitely did!

Great neighborhood and dog friendly yard

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I visited Nashville for our anniversary. We were greeted on arrival with a bottle of champagne. The house was well maintained and the yard was fully fenced for our doggy. A bonus was the screened in porch. Very walkable neighborhood for shops and food. Would recommend family wash and wild cow for dining options. Post east great for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. A lyft to downtown was only about $6/7.
