The Captain’s Cottage is located in the seaport Village of Greenport on the North Fork of Long Island. George Graber was a Steamship Captain and the son of a renowned Schooner Smack Captain William Anderson Graber. Why not try a tasting at the local Greenport Harbor Brewery or learn how to shuck your own oysters at the dockside Little Creek Oyster? A comprehensive sampling of local menus will be provided at the cottage.

Charming House for a Great Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time at the Captain’s Cottage, which was made even more special with Jane’s suggestions for our stay. Jane was incredibly accommodating and her attention to detail made our stay very relaxing. Only a two minute walk to town (great restaurants and shops) and a short trip to the vineyards on the North Fork. We would definitely recommend the home to friends and family!

We came with our friends. The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend in Greenport! We especially enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch.

Perfect stay for parents' anniversary

  • 5 of 5

Perfect spot for a weekend celebration with my parents and brother and his girlfriend. It is in the perfect spot to get into town and have dinner and grab baked goods in the morning. And the home itself is super cosy, which was perfect for us preparing dinner on the night we arrived and enjoying the space itself one evening to relax. Highly recommend it.

Charming comfortable cottage in great village location

  • 5 of 5

Jane was a wonderful host who personally oversaw our visit. The cottage was perfect for our group, comfortable and well appointed. The location just two blocks from the center of the village was ideal. We could walk to everything. We would definitely stay here again.
