About Debbie Bartlett

Exeter has been a family gathering place and we have had numerous family holidays, get-to-gethers and two weddings here. The younger generation of our family spent their childhood exploring the woods and nature here. Betty & Richard always wanted Exeter Nature Cabins to be about keeping a natural area for animals and nature education.

Debbie Bartlett purchased this cabin in 1995

Why Debbie Bartlett chose Exeter

It's peaceful, beautiful, soul renewing place to stay. EVERYONE who stays here says they love it. There are activities for everyone. If your a homebody, then stay on the deck and enjoy the wildlife from there. There are hiking trails that range from leisurely to more challenging. We are just starting to build a place where folks can come and learn more about the woods and natural environment around them. We don't have those opportunites when we live in the city.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Please see my other cabin, Exeter Nature Cabin listing for reviews of both cabins & environs. I'm also on Facebook. I have been getting 5 out of 5's.

Beautiful property, clean cabin, quiet surroundings, great vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

Upon our late arrival, Debbie met us with a smile and a flashlight to show us to our home for the next three nights. A clean cabin with two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, living room & wood stove which we loved using. Waking up in the morning to the silence of 550 acres of nature was perfect, having breakfast on the porch while looking out into the field was even better. The dogs loved the many trails on the property & we even saw a porcupine at night! We roasted marshmallows by the fire outside & heard some coyotes in the distance. Debbie checked in with us often to make sure all of our needs were met. Being able to stay in such a nice place with two big dogs was truly a blessing, it made our " family vacation" that much more. The tiny town of Exeter was the perfect vacation getaway & Exeter Nature Cabins is the place to go! We look forward to coming back to stay with Debbie & Yeti in the future! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
