About Vacasa, ID - Coeur d'Alene Region Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice cabin, wildfire smoke was real bad

 • 1 of 5

Check wildfire reports for surrounding states and canada prior to booking. We had to cut our stay short due to health effects of smoke from wildfires. Cabin was very nice though, and if the smoke hadn't been there this would have been a great spot.

Disappointing vacation

 • 1 of 5

Don't waste your money on this house, as you will not have an enjoyable time. Trains all day (and all night) long, blasting their horns at the crossing just below the house.

Secret Gem

 • 5 of 5

Indeed a secret gem I have now stayed at this house twice once for a Brother's getaway And once with the wife and kid's, it's fantastic. With a view that is second to none and minutes away from the lake and a small secluded park that sits along the edge of the lake. The house is alive with bright and exciting colors that make you fell like you are on vacation. While we are visiting, we like to take a quick 10 min trip over to Dover Bay, where we rent a boat and spend the day on the lake.

After that, we come back BBQ on the beautiful deck followed up by a

soak in the hot tub and watch the sunset. If you can't, make a stay at this house fun you better check your pulse.

Great Home Away From Home

 • 5 of 5

This is a wonderfully homey remodeled 60's style home to reflect the 60's era decorating. They did a fantastic job. The house is great. Beds are really comfy and the kitchen is very well stocked with anything you would need for a family dinner.

The view from the hot tub on the deck is amazing. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Thank you

Gorgeous View and Super Cozy

 • 4 of 5

The house is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable and the view is amazing!! There was plenty of room for 7 adults. My only concern was the road to the house. The two vehicles that we brought were heavy duty 4WD vehicles and we struggled to get out. If you are going during winter months just make sure you have 4WD and chains but otherwise no complaints at all. Sitting on the deck in the hot tub in the snow with that view is magical and sitting in the living room in front of the fire was perfect to warm up from the cold. We had an amazing weekend getaway here and would definitely recommend to others.
