The Churchill Log Cabin is located minutes from downtown Breckenridge, Colorado and close to Highway 9. Walk into the cabin to an open living area with a luxury leather sectional that accommodates the whole family. The kitchen and dining area flank the living room with soaring ceilings and windows with stunning views of the wooded outdoors and snow capped peaks. The dining room opens to an oversize deck with a private 6-person Arctic Hot Tub and Adirondack chairs. Each window through the house has a beautiful mountain view. The main floor has a half bathroom for guest convenience.
The full kitchen is equipped with new Wolfgang-Puck pots and pans, electric skillet, crockpot, popcorn popper, new dishes and flatware. The 55" flat screen HD TV in the living room is equipped with an HD cable box, Apple TV, Netflix, HBO Go and other subscription viewing channels.
The main floor also holds the master bedroom with a new Serta King size bed and a master bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Walk up the open stairwell to the second floor to access the loft area with a futon for lounging, as well as a bedroom with a queen and twin size beds and bathroom with shower.
Downstairs from the main floor is an additional bedroom equipped with 2 captain bunk beds with twin top mattresses and queen bottom mattresses. The extra large room is equipped with a 50" flat screen HD TV with a cable box, Apple TV, and a Blu Ray DVD player. The downstairs also has a large full bathroom with shower.
The cabin also has a extra tall garage that accommodates full size vehicles with a roof rack, washer and dryer, storage area for skis and boots, as well as an indoor area to keep all your outdoor gear. High speed Wi-Fi is also available. Enjoy the neighborhood with 2 Trek bikes or bring them to town to access the hundreds of bike paths in the area.
The cabin is approximately 2,500 square feet and can accommodate two families. The cabin will sleep 8-11.

I have traveled to the Summit County area for the past 40 years. About 4 years ago, I fell in love with the Breckenridge area. I rented through VRBO many different properties, from condos to private homes downtown. From my experience, I decided that we did not want to be in the epicenter of traffic and people. I love our cabin because it is close to the town of Breckenridge, but far enough away from the chaos.
The cabin is a authentic log cabin with modern luxuries such as flat screen TVs, Apple TV, cable service, Blu Ray DVD and Wi-Fi. The deck with hot tub faces our private wooded property that provides a tranquil place of relaxation. Easy to get to from Highway 9. Enjoy the neighborhood with 2 Trek bikes that are available in the garage or bring them to town to access the hundreds of bike paths in the area.
We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful cabin. I absolutely loved the setting, especially the woods off the deck. There were 10 of us & we all had plenty of room. The downstairs set-up is fantastic for kids with the bunk beds and large tv. We were just a few minutes outside of Breckenridge, so it was in a convenient location. I would highly recommend this home to others. Thank you so much for sharing it with us for a few days.
The house is a very nice log cabin in a secluded area outside of Breckenridge. The views are gorgeous and the house is very clean and quiet. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. We even took a hike right out of the backyard. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day of hiking. Highly recommended.
We had such a great stay! The cabin was in the perfect location, just outside of Breckenridge where you can be in town in just 15 minutes, but far enough that you have that outdoorsy privacy that you would desire with a cabin. The cabin was in perfect condition and we immediately felt at home upon arrival. There were 6 of us total, so we were able to put 2 people in each bedroom. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us, and we could have added a few more and still not have been cramped. I would definitely stay in this cabin again and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Breckenridge.
Overall, it was a lovely property. However, there were glaring defects. As a retired contractor, I can state it does not meet any code that I am familiar with. The treads were too small and the handrail was a lawsuit waiting to happen. A two,(2), inch rail should been installed on both sides and secured with proper brackets fastened into the studs.
Also, the basic amenities would have included national news and sports channels.
This was a wonderfully charming property ~15 minutes (depending on time of year) south of Breckenridge we had the pleasure of staying in. We wish we had more time! The layout was awesome and the cabin had pretty much anything you needed to stay. We had a total of 8 people in our group and it literally slept all 8 of us comfortably. I think we had room for 1 more in the downstairs bedroom. I wouldn't recommend more than 2 couples in the cabin though as there are really only 2 bedrooms with privacy. The cabin was clean and definitely well maintained. The hot tub was the added bonus to jump into after a day of skiing or before a day of skiing (outdoor adventures). I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, but we could have had several more people with us. This cabin is about 6 miles from Breckenridge, right off highway 9. If it snows a lot, I would recommend a 4 wheel drive for the road to the house. They do plow it, but it's pretty steep. While the cabin is in a neighborhood, you feel isolated. There are trees all around and beautiful views from all the windows. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
