|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
Maggies Love shack lives up to it name. Weather relaxing in the hot tub under the stars or enjoying a evening warming by the fire pit.
This place was remodeled completely from top to bottom. We have made this place the complete cabin getaway for the city person. It has dimmers on all lights to set the mood; full kitchen with granite counter tops and custom cabinets; hardwood floors threw out the cabin with 2 wool rugs to keep you cozy; new couch with dual recliners; large coffee table; and original fireplace to have a romantic fire. Both bedrooms have down comforters with lots of pillows and mirrors at the foot of the beds.
Across the street we have Maggies Cabin. It is our riverfront cabin. The listing number is 47139.
This property is not on the river and does not have river access. You can access river at the single lane suspension bridge about 6 cabins up river from Maggies Love shack. You can also enjoy the river from the baseball park in Skykomish. It is just east of town a couple miles . There also is a waterfall west of cabin about 2 miles. You will see many cars parked on both sides of the road in the summer. Very popular.
I have been working in customer service at Gene Juarez for 27 years and this was a easy extension of what I love to do. My husband and I were married up here and love the setting. I feel so lucky to share this cabin with my guests. Lots of love went into every touch of this cabin.
Colleen purchased this cabin in 2004
We had always wondered who the owners were of the this cabin ... they happened to be moving things out to sale it when we went by. The nice older couple told us of how they built this place and don't have time to enjoy any more. We left with a hand shake and ended up buying the place a week later.
Maggies Love shack has a wonderful deck. It is on 3 sides of the property with stairs leading to the custom built fire pit that you can even cook on. We have a small covered area to cook out under and large 5 person hot tub. I have lights all around the deck to complete the romantic setting.
We loved the cabin, it was the perfect fall getaway. So cozy inside and the surrounding area was beautiful! Everything was perfect and we can't wait to come back again!
The owner was concerned about the heavy machinery operating the first 2 days of our stay repairing the river bank--it was actually quite entertaining. The cabin was ideal, well done, comfortable, and delightful in ways we could not have imagined. The real plus which was not anticipated in the least was the sound of the rushing water with the salmon swimming upstream, and the absolutely drop-dead beauty of the surrounding scenery. The owner was very helpful and a gem in every way possible making our stay even more pleasurable
We loved the location, which is right around several hiking spots and close to a river. The cabin itself was adorable, spotlessly clean with more amenities than we could possibly use in the course of a couple days. We've been to other places and immediately felt the need to find activities elsewhere, but Maggie's Love Shack felt instantly like a second home. The weather didn't cooperate w/ us, but we were still able to use the perfectly sized umbrella to cover the hot tub and relax outside and enjoy listening to rain.
We booked a last minute stay at Maggie's love shack, we traveled from B.C.about 2 hours total and were surprised when we arrived . The cabin is situated in plain site, yet privacy abounds. The cabin is beautiful due to it's wood construction in and out and really sets the mood. On top of that, the hot tub, wrap around partially covered deck, the fire pit and indoor fireplace allows for all weather vacationing. It is clean and well planned out for guests. It is just right for 2-4 people. The rooms are small yet adequate for a great stay. All the comforts of home are here and the cabin is warm and inviting. We truly enjoyed our getaway with the feeling of peace and satisfaction when we had to leave.We will be back to try Maggie's cabin for our next time to the area.
We really enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and other essentials. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back!
We are walking distance to the only wooden single lane bridge over the Skykomish river. There is a small path on both side of the bridge to access the river.
