Comfortable and Charming

David and Becky were such great hosts. The 132 year old "Brictorian" has been updated and our group of 8 throughly enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous house for relaxing, and fabulous home base for adventures!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 nights here, and didn't have any complaints. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed to cook breakfasts & lunches (and a dishwasher for cleanup). Furniture was comfy, and there was easily enough seating for the four of us in whichever room we ended up. The second floor bathroom is huge, which made it easy for three women to share (my sister had the third floor bathroom to herself, which only seemed fair since she had the extra flight of stairs!).

The house is within easy walking distance of downtown, and has a great view. We spent a lot of our time looking for sapphires, and it was nice to come back to the house to clean up and relax a bit before heading to town to find dinner (the UPNSMOKIN BBQ House is awesome, by the way, and The Daily Grind has good sandwiches with a quiet, shady patio).

Fantastic Voyage

  • 4 of 5

Great place if: you have kids; don't have kids; you like to eat at a giant dinner table; you want some privacy from your group; day-drinking in P-burg floats your boat; you want to walk around town and be awesome; you enjoy reading and looking out on an awesome valley; you brake for living history; sleeping in huge beds makes you sleep well; sleeping in bunk beds reminds you of the better parts of childhood.

Skiing: stay here. Fishing: stay here. Family trip: stay here. An evening of poor decisions: stay here. Clean, well-appointed, rad.

great place!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the Bricktorian! The house was in a great location, close to downtown (great brewery and candy shop), and was clean and well stocked with kitchen gadgets, towels, games, and books. The only thing that would have made our stay better was a powder day at Discovery...
