About Mr Turan Ali
Hi - I'm Turan. I work internationally in media and I love having highland cottages as my quiet retreat and having other people enjoy the beauty, peace and relaxation of Loch Ness and the Highlands. We have a great team at Loch Ness to look after you. Karen gets the cottage ready for you, Matt does the gardens, and I deal with the bookings. If there are any questions or problems just text, call or email me (Turan) and I will get the problem sorted quickly for you. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Loch Ness area of the Scottish Highlands.

Why Mr Turan Ali chose Inverness
The Cottage at Inverfarigaig on Loch Ness is unique. Most Loch Ness holiday cottages have a busy road between you and the Loch. Here we are a quarter of a mile away from the nearest small road, down a private track. Between The Cottage and Loch Ness is just your own private garden and beach. The stunning views up and down Loch Ness and across to the mountains on the other side are truly breath-taking and the peace and quiet is total relaxation. The Cottage has a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2017 and 2018.

Clean, prestine surroundings
Convenient place to stay and enjoy the highlands nature
What can I say this is just a lovely quiet place to stay. Clean and best of all right on the Loch . Cameron’s tea room 2 mins down the road , great for breakfast. And as alway so many places to visit. Just love it and will be back next year
We are delighted The Cottage at Inverfarigaig on Loch Ness has worked its magic on you all Rachel ! You're right, it is unusual in being right on Loch Ness. Most cottages here have a road between them and the Loch, we don't. Total peace and quiet and amazing views. We'd love to welcome you back any time. Many thanks for your visit and for being such lovely guests - Turan
Enjoyable stay, handy for the family in Inverfarigaig. Location excellent with access to the Loch via some steps. Real dark sky location gave us the best view of the Milky Way we’ve seen in years. Owner reacted immediately when the kettle gave up and had one delivered the next day. Great shower! Warm & cosy cottage. The quaint, spiral staircase gave us some issues as we’re not the most mobile people in the world. Overall, we’d recommend the cottage for a Highland break.
So pleased you all loved The Cottage Keith. Yes, with no light pollution at night it is a wonderful location for star gazing. The staircase is not actually a spiral staircase, it is the original L-shaped stairs with one 90 degree turn, and yes each step is a slightly different size, hence the handrail. It is one of the charms of a traditional forester's cottage. There is a downstairs bedroom with views over Loch Ness also, We are delighted you were cosy and comfortable in The Cottage and we were happy to sort out the kettle problem immediately for you. Welcome back any time., you were wonderful guests. with many thanks for your visit - Turan
A fab getaway!
A cosy warm cottage with views over Loch Ness and its own private small beach for BBQ and log fires and fishing- albeit quite steep steps from the cottage itself. Great forest walk straight from the cottage. Local amenities include village shop, cafe and local interest only about a mile away. Definitely a get away from the 'hustle and bustle' of a busy life place. Peaceful and quiet. Great for dogs too!
The Cottage is in the beautiful, and peaceful village of Inverfarigaig on South Loch Ness with stunning Loch Ness views and many woodland, mountain and loch side walks starting from your front door. The Cottage has its own private beach which is ideal for BBQs and breath-taking sunsets. Within minutes of The Cottage there are other lochs, mountains and forests to explore. The wildlife in the area will also amaze you with many bird species, deer, pine martens, osprey, woodpeckers, red squirrels, bats and at night you are guaranteed to hear the occasional owl. Nearby Loch Ruthven is an impressive bird reserve and dolphins are seen all year at Chanonry Point on the Black Isle (40 mins away). The Cottage is an ideal base for touring everything the Highlands have to offer.
Fishing is allowed from either of The Cottage's private beaches. Visitors regularly catch brown trout and occasionally salmon. Sunbathing is also possible on the shingle beach some weeks of the year ! Please note, the steps down to one of the beaches are a little steep and there is a hand rail to help. The beaches are not suitable for people with mobility problems.
