The property is located on San Luis Rey Pl, a quite South Mission Beach location. Step out to the bay side where you can swim, boogie board, sun bath, or take a romantic stroll down the boardwalk. Just a few minutes to Sea World, The San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. It is located within walking distance to groceries, beach rentals, quality restaurants and the newly upgraded Belmont Park and the Mission Bay aquatic center.

This house is very beautiful, very clean and fully equipped with everything you need and then some. It is a short walk to the beach and not to far from bay side shoppes and restaurants. We had six adults and one child and the home is spacious enough that you didn't feel like you were running into eachother. We parked two vehicles in the garage which was a big plus. Parking is very hard to come by in that area. The property manager was very accommodating, professional and polite. We had the best time! Loved the house the location and the environment. We would most definitely recommend this rental and will return on our next trip.
Had a wonderful time with my son family and friends. Quiet, close to both beach and baysides and Belmont Park in Mission Beach. Would be recommending the property to other friends and family members to rent in the near future.
Would be a great addition to the rental if bikes and bogie boards where included for large families. This would make the experience of vacationing allot easier ans less hassle.
Overall, our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable and will be returning next year if available.
Great location, clean, well equipped property. Short walk to either the ocean beach or mission bay beach. Great for children. Second floor location is nice.
Street parking is extremely difficult, so the garage is a bonus benefit. With the exception of the barbeque, all appliances worked well & the kitchen was well equipped.
Bedding excluded blankets, but mild weather precluded the need for extra bedding. No AC, but multiple ceiling fans seemed adequate with the windows opened. Worth a repeat visit.
Took our daughter and grandson for a week. The condo was walking distance between the bay and the beach on a great little street. Neighbors across the street reached out to say hello right after we arrived. The condo was very clean, comfortable and well equipped (except for tissues), and the management team responded quickly when contacted for what were very minor issues. We took full advantage of the easy-to-use kitchen with breakfast every day and dinner twice.
Plenty of space inside and the deck was perfect for pre-dinner and post-grandson-going-to-sleep cocktails and relaxation. Given the challenges parking in the neighborhood and along Mission Ave., having the 2-car garage was really a great feature. Driving time was less than 30 minutes to the venues we visited (Legoland, New Children's Museum, San Diego Zoo, USS Midway Museum and La Jolla Children's Pool). The only challenge was being in the flight path from the airport. Our grandson loved it, and we did get used to the steady flights overhead (less frequent at night) but we could see where it would be a detriment to some. The earthquake was an added bonus (although next time, if it could be timed a bit earlier than 1 a.m., that would be preferable!)
We would definitely recommend the Go San Diego card. Saved both time and money. Good restaurants nearby: The Mission for breakfast, the Draft at Belmont Park for lunch (and a great selection of draft beers), Better Buzz Coffee shop every day, The Fishery and World Famous for dinner. We also drove to the Great Maple for one of the best breakfasts ever. (A bit pricey, but the food is spectacular and plentiful).
No question we would consider staying there again, or at another of their properties we saw along the bay on our daily walk/runs.
Extremely clean, best equipped rental we have experienced. Response to our one problem (garage door opener) was very timely. 2 car garage is very important as parking in the area is difficult. For light sleepers, the airport opens at 6:30 AM and you are directly under most departures (the only drawback we encountered).
We enjoyed our stay here very much as it was the perfect place for us. Local restaurants were within walking distance, including a couple smaller local markets. Easy parking inside the garage.
It'll take you less than 3 mins to walk to the beach or to the bay.
Keep in mind the unit is upstairs and does not have A/C so it can get hot and we had the fans on and windows open to keep the air flowing. The balcony was very nice. The Spiral staircase from the Garage to the location is tight, so may want to bring your big stuff up the front staircase.
In the daytime, we hosted some business clients who came over and had a private chef make our meals and everything we needed was in the kitchen and it was perfect for us.
Missing - Blankets... Only one of the 3 beds had a comforter or blanket. The other two only had sheets. May want to check on that. The shower hot water is tricky. Have to put the handle in the perfect place to get hot shower and if not... you'll enjoy a cold shower :)
